i am back!!

i can't live without a 3rd gen, after buying my 69 i needed to have another 3rd gen and stumbled onto this 84z28

whats amazing to me is the pic of the floor pan....for a 20 yr old car and in WISCONSIN where they coat the damn roads with salt...they are almost as good as new...as you can some what see this car is clean...NO RUST!

some nice features it comes with are power door locks, rear defrost, power rear hatch release, power windows,145mph speedo, ers sound system, locking t tops

the car does need a wash but i can attest to it having reall nice black paint...the motor has about 850 miles on it from a fresh rebuild...the trans was rebuilt/shift kit and has a nice smooth transition through gears..new carb, distributer, intake manifold due to the process of the computer delete which i would have done anyhow....absolutely no rattles come from this car and the doors shut with little effort which is a rare find on a car as old as this

the t top seals are new so no leaks from the tops(which are locking)...new headliner so thats a plus..the tail lights are from an iroc which is another thing i would have done myself and it comes with a alarm( nice in my neighbor hood since it is going downhill)

the hood and hatch open and stay up without any effort..(big time plus since the struts were replaced)...one of the problems with these cars is the heavy metal hood/hatch and the struts wear down and are a pain to lift

i did find a few little things i am gonna fix, the painted blue bottles in the engine compartment have to go!!...the power locks need to be lubed...the actuators will be replaced with new ones...the power mirror actuator needs to be replaced

mods i will do will be replacing the exhaust, paper filter with a k&n,add a lighted rear view mirror from a 93-02,tint the windows and hatch, add 4th gen (93-02) seats, subframe connectors, lower control arms, tubular adjustable torque arm ,possibly a 3 inch cowl hood (fiberglass)and my drag lites from my 69

if you know anything of these year of camaros you'd know a 82-84 body style in this condition is a rare *** find!...i can't wait to start playing with this car!

Welcome back to the fold! I love how the red badges contrast with the black....reminds me of the 454 SS I previously owned. To me, all that car needs is better wheels and it'll be perfect.

this one blows the doors off my other one...no door sag!...carpet is near mint!...t top seals and most other seals on the are near mint!...if my luck goes good i will have some 4th gen leather seats...new head liner...new tires...new carb...this is the cleanest non race 3rd gen i have seen in the last 5 yrs

as soon as i take posseion of it i am gonna take it in to my friends and pay him to undercoat the bottom better seeing as it is a daily driver

sometimes you have to suffer a bit of time loss to get the bigger gains, sfcs will help any thirdgen alot, just put a bigger motor in if you need higher times
