can't say I have, but I would to see how it looks.

The onlything I like about the 91-92 nose is the nose site flush with the foll up lights.

I always hated the way 91-92 T/A s nose looked compared to the Formulas ..
that's why T/As has the holes incomplete ..
i photoshopped a T/A Nose only darkened the holes section
and now it looks killer ..if some day i got a 91 T/A nose
i will paint this section black cause it looks killer!
specially with RA Hoods ! now this is the perfect look.
i guess the Banshee was intented like that ..with all the openings
black!

the thing i like about camaros is they never really changed and it looked good. as for the firebirds, i only like 82-84 with the GFX, as far as the 91,92 front goes....man i dunno know what pontiac was thinking, it's like they were confused and put it on to get ready for the 4th gen. altho when those r behind me it sometimes looks like a vette alittle. idunno, i just don't think it fits with the 3rd gen style

i have an 85 camaro and an 86 firebird(with bumpers from a 82-84) and a 1991 GTA. there is no comparison, my GTA is by far the best looking, and i like the 91 nose/gfx/and back bumper/tailights better than the older ones.

you can't look her in the face and call her ugly!

post up more 91's!!!!

I think they could have done a better job with the gfx on the front. It resembles flab on the side, and not too appealing, needs a little more extention to the front of the nose.

Not yet...but I'm working on that. I'm trying to get my hands on a formula style bumper and mold the gfx on it with fiberglass. I was gonna cut mine up...but I'd be pissed if I messed up.

Also, did this in paint.

I like the 91-92 nose better as well. I was actually wanting one of those cars, but I found my RS bought that instead. I love this car!!!!

I actually strongly prefer 87-90 formulas for the stock look. The banshee nose goes a lot better with ram air hoods tho.

Yes, i also love the front end just wish they didn't cost so much to replace.

Not a huge fan of the gfx though. I dont mind the sides but the back bumper looks terrible to me. But thats just me. Mine came with the ground effects on it so id might as well keep em. Although if i had a choice i would have got the formy with no gfx and somehow use the TA nose because of the fog lights.

Actualy I always thought the 91 -92 bumper made it look more like knight rider than the batmobile, Or a c4 Corvette Ive gotten that at least twice now. "Who's corvette is that?" lol or someone saw my car in the dark and knew I had a firbird but thought I had brought a corvette .

i love the whole look of the 91-92's From the Nose the the taillights. I have a Black 91 GTA with the RA1 hood from ASCD. The car looks killer, and i get alot of compliments on it. I think it was a good design change to get the thirdgen outof the 80's. If only they could have made the dash a little more slick. But that would have been just pushin it.

If I remember correctly, I think I remember reading something somewhere about GM wanting to use that styling on the 3rd gen to get everyone ready for the introduction of the 4th... there are some 4th gen lines to it... I prefer the look of the bumpers and GFX of my 89 GTA, but the 91/92s are cool too... and I agree with whoever said that 91/92s look best with a ram air hood... first 91/92 'bird I ever really saw was a local guy who has a 92 GTA with ram air hood... gorgeous car! :hail:

11's....

they have 335's on them righ tnow, but the inner fenderwell is clearence abotu as far as i can before i have to mini tub it, so they rub a triny bit around a really hard corner... they wont touch at all with a pair of 315's on it

Did you have to clearance anything to get 315's to work? I'm curious how wide you could go w/o doing any clearancing....

umm yeah had to beat the hell out of the inner fender wells - mostly towards the front and around the top inner area's...
this is a joke right? it is fxxking expensive to fine a 11J rim in Taiwan, especially for thirdgen (120.65mm), I run 8.5 in the rear, the max tire is around 255mm.

The 91~92 GFX look great!

Probably not, people do it to their 4th gens all the time as well to run tires that big.

Nope - definately NOT a joke...

its even harder to fit 11" rims under a firebird fender well than it is an iroc/camaro -

andris skulte runs a 1 1/2" spacer on each side with his iroc, with identically back spacer rear 11's - i run a 1/2" spacer... the camaro's are an inch wider at each fender lip than the birds, hence more clearencing to get them to fit underneeth.

In japan they are very strict as to what you can do to a car over there - we definately dont deal with that here... i just get looks and told nah, i dont wanna race - ur tires are big for a reason...

So yeah anyways, they are shoe horned in, have had no need to roll the fender lips tho..
