Since the people at boyds ask a thousand $ extra for one wheel (11inch is a custom order, so they say) i wonder if there's a company that offers billet aluminium wheels in this dimensions at a reasonable price.
If i don't find any, i am gonna sell my car next spring, because it doesn't look good enough for me anymore

Your car is fine as is!! 20"s are too big in my opinion.

The only wheels I have seen are 20x10" and 20x8.5"

Seen a supra with 20X13" but dont know what kind of rim that was. would something that big fit tho?

First let me say one thing, either you are single or married to a supermodel.....This striving perfection for making it look as nice and constantly improving would be killer in the search for a girl......

On a second note, Get in contact with Kandied91Z, he knows quite a bit about billet wheels, and pretty much the only contact on here that can help you find what your looking for without the usual...

20's are too big, 20's belong on an SUV, keep your car the way it is crap that is sure to follow on this thread.......

Nice Step in the right direction Graboid......

I thought they were like 19' or 20' in the first pick. I have the 18x8.5 IROC-Z wheels on mine. I've seen 20' wheels on a 3rd gen before and it looked real nice but it all depends on the wheel i guess!

The reason i didn't buy 20's in the first place was that they were not avaiable wider than 10 inch. I would not put 10x20's on my car, but a 11x20 inch wheel wrapped in 275/30's would be perfect for me

Ugh. Better go buy a Honda... they make everything for those.

Vanity is really pathetic.

just so you know, the stance will have to be higher with the 20s...

you may already realize that... but, if you try to get the car to stay the same height when you put the larger 20s on, the front wheels will hit the fenderwells when you go to turn...

i have 225/45 18 now. as a matter of fact the overall diameter of the wheel will be 0.2 inch smaller with the 245/30 20. I don't see how the result will be a higher stance.....

If your gonna go with a 30 series tire you might a well kiss your wheels goodbye. cause the first time you have a blowout ( knock on wood ) it won't be pretty! and like 1BadThirdgen said "keep your car the way it is" that's one of the nicest verts i've seen in awhile.

How about putting the 91-92 ground effects on it! that would give you a different look if thats what your going for.

first, IF i get a set of rims, i will have a 245/30 20 in front and 295/25 in the back.
second, if i would like the 91-92 gfx, then they would be on the car already.

the problem is a billet wheel is already very expensive over a cast wheel. it takes longer to produce, the material is more expensive, etc.

imediately your going to spend almost twice to have a billet wheel over a cast chrome or painted wheel. with that out of the way you have to consider offsized/special order sizes like a 20x11 is going to be even more expensive because of the lack of materials. not many shops boyd, budnik, etc included are going to keep 20x11" or wider hoops around.

you can pick up 20x11 cast wheels off ebay and other internet stores for under 2,000 for a set with tires. if you want the custom billet look you going to pay.....

with that out of the way if you think boyd is expensive then stay away from budnik, boze and intro. if your just looking to duplicate your exact wheel but in those larger styles i can make a call to boyd but chances are it won't do much good. you have a nice car but not enough done to warrant company backing....if you want the looks its something you'll have to deal with. the same would be with any other car you pick up. the billet wheel prices won't change. at least your at a point now where 20's are the standard and tires are much cheaper.

Could you name me some of those internet shops who sells 20x11 or 9 rims for our cars?

you mean 20x11 and 20x9 correct? most often 20x10 is the most popular...20x9 shouldn't be a problem from any of the billet companies. 20x11 is a little more selective and definately an off size most reserved for performance which a 20" wheel is not.

cast wheels are a dime a dozen. just look on ebay to see....

another solution is to find a cast wheel in the design you like and have it widened. being outside of the states will definately make things more difficult for you as the choices on your side are rather limited. all these options are just as expensive. best bet is to find a 20x10 combo and then have the fronts narrowed and the rears widened. you'll aleady have the material and it will be cheaper then buying 20x11.

do a little bit of homework and you'll find everything you need.

try out this website as well, many workers and even designers for the top billet companies hang out here. if anywhere you'll find your answer here.

Well it gets mentioned to him every single time he posts his car......

And this thread is about 20x11 wheels, NOT his choice of gfx....

Who told you it was that expensive? Cuz when I asked Boyd about the custom order I wanted to make it wasnt some insane $1000 a wheel price for custom width.

I sent them an e-mail, and the answer was 1000$ extra for one wheel and it will take 3 months for delivery

if you only want a 245 tire why not just get it 8 inches wide.. and for a 295 in the back a 10 inch wide rim will fit ur needs fine

Hey Graboid,

let me know when you decide to buy the 20". I might be interested to buy the 18"from you.

I'm having the same struggle, selling the car or start upgrading it with bigger wheels, performance exhaust etc.

Have you looked at Breyton wheels. There used on BMW's a lot and have 20"
