That looks very similar to a (91) vert that was for sale about 3 blocks from where I work, down to the stock lamps and painted RS grille. Never saw it in town prior to it being for sale at a car lot.

People know that when Kandied starts a post with Fatal's name in the subject, something's got to be good.

just thought it was interesting........one of the cars was painted first. the scheme is way to close to each other though, even down to the yellow edging on the flames.

just goes to show you, if you can think of it chances are someone's done it similar.

Yeah, i liked the rims in the Camaro Performance article they did on the car in 2003. Those rims looked sweet. Does anyone know if they fit without alot of headache? And the headlight mod rocks!!

Definitely...now that is how flames are done. Worlds better than the black car in the NOPI Nationals thread.

i don't care for the overall design of the black cars flames in that thread but in my eyes it's not only a more intricate design but a better eye catcher which are reasons why i like the paint that much more. that particular black car is a bad example but i doubt many will disagree that the flames on a car like this aren't as nice as the plain old school design on fatals. it's all personal preference. same with the wheels.

fatal has a very nice round about car but from 10 feet away with the two side by side i'd walk up to the black one first. paint is the most important detail you can add to a car over anything else. won't even get into the details of the car obviously because that's a different subject and one that ties fatals car into a very nice rounded show car. but i guarantee anyone that the paint on this black car would make you look at it first unless you hated black cars.

Well said. I must admit, the black one is undeniably a striking car, more so for the fact the flames are so unusual. That, I'm sure, is immensely important in car shows.

kandied is right yet again, personally i think the car can be hooked up to the hilt but if somethign doesnt work right with it, its not going to look great. Thats what i liek on mine all teh ghost stripes and letterign is put together to where it is subtle enough that people always ask if the rs option included the stripes

Where the hell is fatal anyway? i figured he would have posted awhiel ago. think he's mia

I happened to catch the 'vert I was talking about at a different car lot today while I was out pissing away time at work... seems to have a strong resemblance to the original pic'd paint job.....

Just spotted another Thridgen with a similar paint job this weekend. There was a huge car show this weekend and the local county fair grounds, and I ended up behind the camaro, which had a corvette rear clip on it. I'm just adding my .02 since I noticed most of you guys are in South & Midwest, and that we have another copy on the East Coast.
