well, i haven't updated you guys in a long time so here is a short rundown.
the car still needs paint bad, but i am willing to wait on that for another little while to put more go-fast-goodies into the car.
dual exhaust using hedman hedders lt's and summit chambered mufflers (sounds awesome) and you can see my 275/60's out back here

don't mind the mismatched car, just know, the car is coming along well

just figured i would give an update since i haven't been on the boards in a while. the wheels are getting matched in two days, i hope to get new pics of that soon.

long way till paint, hope to get it painted a dark gun-metal metalic. pretty excited about that, but i need a cowl hood first.
car went 14.49 with an un-matched intake/cam/converter, now it has a better intake and a higher stall converter. i hope to get down into the 13's. next week i am going to the track as a birthday gift to myself(birthday's on friday)
eventually, it will have turndowns, but right now, i was trying to get it on the car for cheap.
wheels are painted all black now, hope to get pics up for you guys by tomorrow.

Sick!
I love the way it just props up the Maro. Hey how much did your full exhaust cost you. Did you need any help from a lift to install your headers or did you just swap with a little moving around.

thanks guys! it's really good to see other sport coupes coming out now! the hood is a steel replacemetn. the white is way better to look at then the red with the rust all over it. i have been looking at a bunch of different hoods and i believe that i will be going with the harwood 3" or the champion fiberglass hood. guess i will know when i get the money...
as far as ya'll painting your wheels...i say go for it. these are just temporary till i can get a nicer set. hopefully getting a set of weld rod-lite wheels. 15x4(or6) in front and a 15x8 in back.

i like how your always about looks.......
why do i have true dual exhaust? most people run true dual exhaust for the absolute most hp gain for the money. why do people want that? because in most cases they drag race. these people are also generally competitive. lowering the car would look cool. but it would not be practical. you cannot lower these cars without effecting the weight transfer qualities. the car is driven on the streets, and if you have ever been to macon ga, you know that driving a lowered car, even with out duals, is almost out of the question.
i say all this to say that not every one is into this "g-machine" blah blah blah....
sorry, didn't mean to rant on about it...just no way to effectively lower this car and have it still practical to drive or race.

i also cannot lower my car more than an inch, i have a very steep driveway and come close to scraping as it is. the city is rediculous and leaves humongous bumps also.
if i would have GFX they would been scraped up and torn apart by now
