I like the bowtie, but I just wonder if it'd be better if it was red.
The mesh looks pretty good... at least it is black. I personally can't stand the silver ones. It just screams cheap to me...

Blue is on purpose.
Back in the day it didn't matter what color your car was, you got blue. It totaly doesn't match the red, that's kinda the point.

Beautiful car and great idea...I hate to advise someone else because my car is not perfect. Yet, I think it would look that much better if you had an emblem that is at your cars year or newer. But its your car do it the way you want.

Had a feeling there was a story behind it since the car your car is so clean. Best looking aftermarket-type/style grill I've seen. Someone needs to powdercoat black a billet grille. mmm

My first impression when I saw it in person was "CLASSIC". It really has a cool nostalgic look. Its like showing respect for the Camaro heritage. The more I looked at it the more I loved it.

very cool and stylish and I really think it matches well. How did you attach it to the grill? Are there studs or something on the bowtie? Looks good man, love the pictures

The bowtie has studs on the back. I had to drill through the grill, and the bumper piece behind it just a tad.
If I ever decide I don't like it, I'll probably have to get a new grill insert. Oh well.

I like the fact that the older chevy's got blue bowties, regardless of body color, kinda like all having orange blocks.
Here's my motivation:

When recreating the ZL1, GMMG also went back to the blue bowtie for a nostalgic look.
I appreciate all your opinions, but like it or not, I think I've created the look I wanted
hehe....maybe it'll grow on some of ya!
