I was actually kind of curious if anyone would post those pics of the speaker pods I made for my car. They actually look louder than what they really are right now since my amp is fried and I need to get it fixed so the 6.5 and the tweeters are running off of the stereo and the 8's are just in there for looks right now. I need to get my 5 channel amp fixed to run these pods. They are not finished yet. I still need to take them back out, fiberglass them up some more, put a layer of body filler on the, sand smooth and paint them. But that will have to wait until spring. Hope to have my two 15 box built and fiberglassed for the hatch done as well.

What other car are you talking about? The daytona I am taking most of the audio equipment out of?

I used fiberglass to shave my side emblems and my antenna 2 years ago, and I used fiberglass to make my whole rear sub box.

Okay here are the pics of my other car that had the stereo system in it. The car doesn't look the best because it had been sittin for quite a while since it has bad brakes and a blown engine. It was a great car while she lasted but I dont have the time or the money to redo that car as well. It is not a 3rd gen. It is a dodge daytona that the stereo came out of.

Here is the interior and remember this is right behind the front seats.

Custom door panels that housed the 8's before going into the pods in my sail panel

The radio that was in it

The eq mounted up in the rear view mirror

And the rear where the amps were mounted and the extra batteries were located. The 3 silver amps all ran the subs and the black amp ran everything else. This is the one that blew and I need to get fixed to run the new speaker pods. It does look like a wiring mess but it all worked great. Pulled of a 157.1db in and spl contest

2 of those 15's are going into the firebird with one silver amp per sub and the others not really sure what is going to happen to those. That was the first custom fiberglass job that I helped with. The box for those subs took us 2 months to build into the car. It was great while it lasted.

Omfg that Daytona is KILLER! What engine is it? I see by the hood, rims and lack of GFX that it's probably the NA 2.5 engine. Heh I can see why it blew LOL

I used to have an 87 Shelby Z

I didn't put another radio in the rear view mirror. That is my EQ for the stereo. It was built for spl but I also wanted it to sound good as well. I used the eq to tone everything done so it would all work together and sound awesome. So it is not a radio in the rear view mirror.

Plans are in the mix for a custom 'glass cowl' for the bird and, not that anyone hasn't seen it but, doesn't this count ? It's half and half glass and the original trim bezel...
