yes and no...
the brushed finish is nice, however the round insignia doesn't flow with the car... maybe sand the round edges straight and put them on the sides then yes it would be ok i'd think.

It's like if I ripped off a 5.0 badge from a mustang, sure, it's truthful in description and works; However your using a visual identification from another vehicle on your car, drawing associations to it with the badge from another unique design.
Now if you had truthfully "unique" badges for you car that would be cool, not ones ripped fromm a Z06. I'm sure the civic drivers with their aftermarket VTEC stickers will be envious.

Thinking outside would be making a logo that fit the visual ques of the 3rdgen while not imitating or copy other graphic designs.

I like the one for the camaro a lot, but would only put it on my car if I had an LS1 under my hood. (get it?)
About the WS6, there are some cool ones out there from the newer models & there are a bunch of colors to choose from. I dont like the idea of making a Pontiac logo look like a Chevy?

What did the Z06 package on the Vette have that a regular C5 didn't? You can pull a tpiroc and do like he did with the SS badges: do the same upgrades to your car, and slap on Z06 badges.
Now, if only you could fiberglass the whole body and incorporate an LS1, T56, independent rear suspension and power-assisted, speed-sensitive, magnetic variable-effort power rack-and-pinion steering.
Good luck!

. I can't wait to see what these look like on my car. They go perfectly with the colors scheme.
I will try a little double side tape them on at first just to get a feel for it and post pics even though I do not care what anyone thanks it always good to get a majority opinion. I wanna see if I like them before I role it out. Its not that big of a deal really its just a small accent. I probably will not actually put them on until spring anyways. Since my car has been 'winterized' and sotred away.
I was checking some of the other Z06 pics and they look awesome.
I'm planning on adding a new LS1 Corvette motor, Corvette exhaust that you can actually see the Corvette flags between the exhaust out the back next summer, including an all new interior.

91 Bird lol first of all last I read the badge said Z28? What person on the street is really going to make that connection.
Also, because maybe my car will eventually maybe make it in a magazine one day. Versus being diplayed at Best Buy in there Digital Camera photo book. Laughing my *** off! Did you actually drive to the store with your digital camera to take a ppicture of a picture. Oh thats hilarious.

I think it looks alright. Nothing wrong with that. its not making a car something its not. dont know why everyone gets all fussy over thirdgens when it comes to appearance.
Have you taken a good look at stock badges on the ground effects? The ones with IROC-Z in a striped pattern in fading colors? Those dont look to good IMO Should be a solid color.
those Z06 styled badges would look great on back bumber where Z28 is. I think it would fit quite nicely. As far as putting them on the side fenders like Z06, thats a bit iffy. i would need to see a pic first. LOL

oh and a thirdgen isnt just a box. it has curves you know. LOL Dont know why everyone says it dont fit the lines of the car. you need some stuff to break up straight lines on the car.
im going to test fit them with a little double sided tape. See what they look like and if I don't like them or it looks not good I will probably sell them or someting or stick them on my tool box or lawn tractor j/k...Better yet I might stick them on 91 birds car when hes not looking. LoL

If you're not gonna replace the stock emblems with those I wouldn't do it, that would be too much and wierd having two different emblems say the same thing all over the car. I wouldn't touch that nice car with anything matter of fact.

*edit*
never mind, just noticed where you plan to put them. if you do that it will not look good to the majority of the public. it will hurt your chances for magazine coverage.
just food for thought.... work them some place better like the stock locations having the gfx molded around it and you could pull it off. place them on the fender like an older car and it won't be good at all..

They look pretty neat.. I think this has been discussed before as well.
If your putting them on tho definately get rid of the stock badges and fill in their place. Dont go ghettofied and just add extra badges, it just starts to look tacky IMO

put ZO6 rims on that car and they will bring out the style effectiveness of the badges. Looks pretty good, although i am not a fan of Z06 rims on camaros. LOL of course, an LS6 would be the icing on the cake with that theme. LOL

I made my own badges a few years back, but they faded since it was printed with an inkjet. Next set will be done with Vinyl.

to whom ever made the comment of it having to have a LS1 under the hood, the Z06 had the LS6 under the hood.
I think the badges look cool, go for it.
