opinion on putting neon under powerbulge hood?

opinion on putting neon under powerbulge hood?
I just got my 89 Formula, has the power buldge hood, and its neat sitting in the car and seeing the air filter/engine (Carb'd 350 so i've got the chrome air filter and stuff, lol)...was thinking, it might be neat to have a VERY soft light under the hood at night, just so ya can sorta see stuff for the fun of it...Anyone thought of this before? done it? suggestions?

Yeah I have a cowl hood too and its cool being able to see the engine. If you go through with it or anyone has any pics post up!

What color shall I go with? Red? I dunno how UV would look...dont wanna do blue or green....
.J/K not my thing but if i were going to do it i would go either red or white/silver.
