NEW 88-90 Iroc wheels
I found the company who made the 88-90 Iroc wheels. They are willing to make them again if I can come up with 25 sold orders. Prices will run from $800.00 for a unpainted set to $1000.00 for a chromed set. They only offer 16x8 sizes right now. but may offer them in other sizes if there is a sizable interest. If you are interested please let me know and if I can get enough orders I will get the company to make them. This will be a prepaid deal.

A used set will set you back about 200.00 to 500.00 depending on condition. Than you have to have then refinished or chromed. Refinisihing them will set you back abnout 500.00. Chroming will set you back 200.00 per wheel. And you are still stuck with a Used set of wheels.

$500 for a set of 88-90 IROC rims? if u spend that much on IROCs, and u need to have them refinished, then im sorry, u got ripped off. I cant see spending $500 for brand new stock-size IROCs, let alone $800. I spent $300 for my brand new ZR-1 rims.. i doubt 800 for 16x8 IROCs is gonna pull in much interest.

You can buy 88-90 Iroc wheels just about anywhere. When did they ever stop making them????
But even still, They sell used for under 200 all the time, and most of the time they only need a little scrubbing. You can buy some high grit sandpaper, and wetsand then for about $4.00....add a can of wheel paint and some mask for another $5.00.
You can buy all the compounds and wheels and rent air tools for about $150-$200.
Good luck with the $800 GP.

hehe....I must admit that I don't have Halo2 yet.
I avoid most of those on purpose because I know for a fact that I become a recluse for weeks at a time!

Which Company Makes Them?
Which company makes the IROC wheels? Since the wheels will be reproductions and that no one else is making them, I can see the $800 price tag (yes it's too much). These cars are already getting older and until more companies start making reproduction parts, there will be a higher cost. Just like when repro '55-'57 Chevy parts were first being made. Even Chevy rally wheels of the late '60s used to be more but now are less today for new ones.

For the wheels. I agree, if you spend more than $250-$300 for a set of IROCs, you got screwed.
As for the price of getting news ones, they better be 17s or 18s if you are going to be spending that much. The only time that I would spend $800+ for a set of stock looking rims is if you could NOT find them virtually everywhere.

Well no one wants them so I wont waste anymore of my time trying to get them made for everyone. At least I got a set made for myself.

Are those the actual rims they made for you??? I see that those have the "front" cast into the inner painted area just like OE. If I had new wheels made, I woulda made sure that "front" and "rear" were NOT on there. Are you sure they're not re-finished wheels?
....and don't take any of our responses personally. So many of us have re-finished our own wheels, and I guess we kinda jumped all over you a bit. It's all good, and wherever those rims came from, they sure look good!

Yes thet are the actual rims. They are brand new and the cast the front and rear on to the rims so you don't confuse the two. Or should I say the tire shops. The guy made one set for me so as I can show everyone what they look like and unless I can get 25 sold orders he wont be making anymore.
