I'm gonna be getting my ZS's powdercoated soon, going with a very dark gold, almost copper and a polished lip ....

i think they're great, except the sticker "zs racing" seems pretty tacky to me... other than that, they look like the zs argents they used to sell.. spokes may be a tad darker now.

those rims do look good. If i didnt have a set id think about buyin a set of those. Does anyone know what the backspacing on the rims are? Also is that zs racing sticker gonna be on there or what ?

I agree. I don't like black rims, but I don't like rims that are too "bling bling" either. These look just right with that color. Very nice in my opinion.

Well maybe the all knowing thirdgen members can help me make a decision.I can't decide wether to get the limited edition or originals and wether to paint it silver or leave it two tone.What do ya think?

i would stay with the two tone or go just with the dark red color you have. silver always has the dull primer look to me. never been a fan of silver. i like the 2 tone look and your combo is nice. this is assuming your talking your paint on the car?

silver or black rims would look nice on your car. i would go silver myself.

keep your current paint (assuming there isn't a reason to repaint) and either find some zs argents or get the silver ones and paint the spokes a darker color... just my

I just painted it in april so the paint is good.I just cant figure out which combo to use.

I have the plain ZS wheels on my gta and love them to death! Everytime I see those ZS wheels w/ the charcol centers it makes me wanna get a set for the gta, and put the plain ones on my camaro! So many things to buy but so little money! Heres a pictures of the originals on my gta.

I think the ZS wheels are the best looking after market wheels for a thirdgen.

Hey 87tpi thanks for the kind words. Its hard for me believe that I actually own the car. Its been my favorite on the boards for years and to finally see it in person let alone own it is awesome. I say if you are undecided get the originals and then if you decide you want the charcol centers just have them painted or powercoated. Only down fall that I can think of is I don't think the originals are aval in 9.5's. But the limited ones are......so idk!

You're welcome.I thought I wanted the mean look of the big hood,big wing but now I am back to the clean look of the aero wing and gta hood,well maybe a cowl or ram air.I think I'll stay two tone for now,after all,I did just paint it in april,I'll wait.What springs does the gta have?I am ordering the sportlines and I am going to go ahead and get the original zs rims.I thought about painting the star on the original zs to match the flame red of the car but realized it would be cheesy looking.What size tires and bs do you have?

Stock spring but will be replaced w/ sportlines in the spring and the tire size is 255/40/17 all around! 8.5" rims

I would stick with the two tone you have right now. If you stick with your current paint sceme I say go with the silver ZS. The charcoal will clash with the dark red (JMO) If the car was a light colour or black I think the charcoals would look really cool. But either way its gonna look sweet. I think if you go back to aero wing and smaller hood it would also look way bigger. The big hood and spoiler seem to break the car's flow apart and makes the car look bigger. Again.....just my opinion.

I'd say I would have to agree w/ flyinlow 100%. Leave the two tone and go for the silver zs wheels! Also lose the hood and spoiler! Two of my favorite things about the gta is gotta be the Stock hood and the spoiler!

Flyinlow,thank you for the compliment,it means alot coming from someone who built a beautiful t/a.Maro,I have decided to get the silver zs's and put the stock hood and wing on.My gta hood is already back on and I am going to order a fiberglass aero wing in a month or two.My wife said she was going to try to order the zs's for christmas .I am planning on 8.5 w. with 245/40/17 tires in front and 9.5w. and 275/40/17 in rear with spotline springs.Does that sound about right?
