Tires...How Wide Can You Go?
I was just wondering how wide of tires you can run on the back end of a stock(not tubbed) 3rd gen camaro? Can you run a 295 or perhaps bigger without rubbing? also does size of rim matter?

285 40 17 bfg kdw 17x 10 rim
still has some room, but how wide do you really need to be?
it comes down to the look you want. i think this looks good, there is a point where big is to big.

well i don't want the tires stickin out or anything, its just i'm gonna buy new rims and and rear tires, so i mines as well go as big as i can go...they are gonna be either 16" or 15" rims....and 10 inches wide, I would like 16's but they are hard to find in 10" wide...so would you say 285 is the biggest you can go while still maintaining a reseanable level of style..

well i like them but that is a 17" tire so for a 16 it would be diffrent. i also run a 245 45 17 frt so it has a good look to it.
i forget how the sizing works. since you going 16" you will have to find the size conversion.

you can go with a P295/50/R16 they look bad *** in my opinion just enough sidewall and real meaty in width, it should leave you sufficient room as well
