The later cars were that way. (90-92)

The earlier cars it depended on options (g92/etc) that were ordered with the car. HTH!

My 86 Z28 also has the 145 mph speedo. Its a LG4 (305 carbed) 5 speed. Is there an RPO for this option?

Also, no one really knows why GM didn't make the 350/5speed a combo. I don't think it's because it would have been compared to the vette, because the Turbo trans am was faster than the vette, or so i've heard. I dont think the good ole T5 could handle the 350 either, I've heard that too, and lastly, emissions prevented it, heard that too.

I'm interested in this "350 5speed". Picture of the Vin and RPO codes would be nice.

...because until then, it remains "my brother's mother's third husband" type of BS.

Also, there is no factory 350/5 speed combo. Argue all you want, but there wasn't. Check the history board.
The man hath spoken.

I'd have to agree with him though, the word "rare" is one of those dirty curse words on here that will eventually be **** out like **** **** **** and the rest of your favorite 4 letter expletives (first one actually says "ryce"). Their doth not exist a 5 speed 350, I looked long and hard for one, but no dice.

If your friend's car is an '86 and the hatch wasn't swapped, then it will have the top mounted 3rd brake light.

also, my car was originally an LG4 and has the 145mph speedo, oh it's an '86 for those who are new to the site and aren't familar with my car
