Pic of my new 86 IROCZ (post yours too)

here it is my baby,.....car runs great and there is NO RUST on the body. this thing is optioned out. it has everything. it even came from the factory with 16" rims. dont have em tho the previous owner kept them, i know he did. but anyways it had 15" Chrome American Racing Rims on it. and they looked like crap. now it at least has camaro rims. 15" 5 Spokes from my last camaro RIP (Blue 90 RS).. but feel free to post your pics i would like to see some rides!!!

heres an interior shot,...oh yeah in that pic above theres one unpainted rim cuz some jerk at J&J Automotive in Uxbridge didnt tighten my lugs and the wheel came loost and then off on 495 heading towards boston...in rush hour traffic also.....luckily it was the back tire that fell off and not the front. btw this happened when the rims were on the RS...so no the IROC never lost a wheel

thats weird, i thought only 350 TPIs got the 145mph option Also in 1986 the Corvette only had a 85mph speedo...

Sorry man but that cant be. There was no such thing as a 1986 350 TPI in the first place (only made 50 of em and they werent sold to the public) Also there was never a Fbody L98 350 TPI with a 5 speed, only AUTO. And i swear i thought the 350s only came with the 145mph speedo,

it still doesnt prove a FACTORY 350 5 speed post his rpo codes and if g is 86 then y is his 350 87-92. this clearly shows that a 86 350 does not exist. well it does but not in the hands of the public only those special 50 for gm

and you do know that a 89 Z28 doesnt exist right? where you get that?? the Z28 was absent from the Chevy lineup from 88-91 during this time IROCZ's were an actual vehicle not just an option package....the only other camaro it could be for that year is an RS

First of all, the VIN decoder simply reads what you enter it. If you change his VIN to

1g1fp21e1GN161893

Then it automatically has an LO3 now. It doesn't verify that the car actually exists.

Also, there is no factory 350/5 speed combo. Argue all you want, but there wasn't. Check the history board.

Yup 305's could also get the 145 speedometer cluster too. We have an 86 Iroc and a 87 Z-28, both 305 lb9's with the 145 mph guage cluster.

I think it could be possible maybe just how some cars got corvette heads and other left over parts like 4 bolt blocks.

um...did the Corvettes of the late 80's come with 350tpi/5speed option? If so, maybe GM did not want the camaro to have that option so it could'nt compete with the vette?? Just a random thought.
