I agree, go with stock.

stock housing, updated bulbs.
I haven't looked into that, but I know my bulbs are pretty darn bright. Why do you suggest updating bulbs???

that's what I did...updated my bulbs to "Xenon" bulbs....they are way brighter than the factory bulbs...and they don't have a yellow tint to them...very nice and white...

Silverstar bulbs look so much nicer and are brighter than the plain jane bulbs out there. They also don't have that crazy blue tint that some HIDs have, just nice and white.

is it possible to get just the lamp section of the stock fog light from GM or some other place...mine needs replacing but my brackets are still in good shape?

GMparts direct...still shows all the foglight parts/brackets
housing/lens are 65 each
brackets are 18 each
then add thier famous shipping and handling to those prices

I checked at my GM dealer before I checked my email and about fell over at the $109 each just for the lamp section

Anyway where can you get them for $65.49...my guy never offered to discount them all

Dang all I REALLY need is the glass lens for them

all u need is the glass lens?

i got a whole fog light assmembly out a junk yard for free once...i took it apart and put it in the good old toolbox.

anyone know where i can get the updated bulbs for the fog lights? and how much do they cost?

Man some one paid $237.50 for a pair of OEM fog lights on Ebay.....coulda got them cheaper from his local Chevy dealer


some people pay WAY to much for stuff at that place
