Looking at the HOK site and they sell red red marblizer. Just wondering how it looks on a car. I've searched and can't find a pic.

i do not have one of a car but i do a bike. i can say that on things small or subtle detail touches it's a neat effect. on a whole car, particularly a thirden it would not go over well but to each his own.

enjoy..

everyone is different, some use plastic wrap which is more common. there is also paint out there that will crystalize like that without having to use any sort of drag technique. you might want to look into that as well.

yeah i guess a whole car would be way too much. Thanks for the pic. I'll keep looking for the right look. Sometimes I think I'm looking at too much paint. You could look at this forever and never be able to make up your mind.

I have seen a black chevy truck with green marble flames. It looked good. Kinda different.

I think the all over marble would be too much. IMO.

Stripes like that on a black car would look kinda cool.

what would look good with that is a black car with maybe a thin stripe along the side in that color, MAYBE racing stripes down the car.....but definatly not the whole car....

crystal has a different effect. looks like shattered glass.

marble looks swirled. there is no one way to do either but the crystal has very sharp jagged edges and the marlbe is smooth and controlled.

My buddy had a convertable caddy that was grey marble and it looked like a giant bowling ball. def not a good idea for a whole car but maybe a ghosted marble job would be cool. I dont know how that would work though. I was watching pimp my ride last night and they did a lace pattern on the ground effects by laying lace down before paint and although I did not like it it opened me up yo a whole new world of custom painting that I never even thought of before!

That's funny cause I was going to say that it looks like a giant bowlingball! It's not my thing, I think ghost effects would be just enough!

Does anyone have pics of the crystalized paint? Saw it on TV once. they did it in black and dark blue colors on a car. The crystal part was blue but it was very subtle so you had to get close to see it. Looked absolutely divine
