OK, I have a 91 V6 firebird, and Im interested in getting some 85-90 T/A tailights. On my taillights, you can clearly see the yellow, and thats where it blinks. Where are they located on 85-90 T/As??? Are they on/in the taillight?

There is no yellow. The outer red lights flash.

 

The turn signals flash the same area that are the brake lights.
This is correct for T/As, 82-90.

My brother put 84 taillights in his 91, and the brake lights were the same as mine, but the outer red panel,(the one that is NOT lit-up, in my picture), was his turn signal.

I thought it looked really good, and different at the same time.
(sorry, no pics of his car though)

Thanks for the help guys! Any tips on swapping the tailights, or is it pretty straigh forward? Also, how do you get access to remove the taillights?

if its anything like the camaro u remove the rear plastic panels (spare tire piece and rear glove box piece) and there is access to 4-6 plastic wingnuts...
