What do you think about these rims?

Probably some issues with fitment but they might look good if they would actually fit.
What I am wondering is - will 9" fit up front with narrow enough tires?
From what I have read here it seems like the 5.5" backspace is correct. The offset seems doable too.
Any insights?
I have a pic of another third gen with wheels like these that I will loof for and post.

What I am trying to find out is - will 9" rims work up front. I would like to put at least a 245 tires up front as well. This could be a good combo.

Thanks for the reply - does running an 18" make a difference though? I know 9" and 9.5" works with the 17" rims like the snypers and such - but what about 18' rims?

I have seen those first ones of a pick up, they were 20s and looked really nice. they would probably look ok on a 3rd gen but a photo shop would be nice.

Here is a small picture if someone could photoshop it. There are not a lot of options for our cars - this is worth a look.

very bling bling. i like them though. i dont think they are too "busy" but on the car they could be. the 9" rim should be just fine. im running a 7.5" rim up front with a 245 tire and it works out great.

I actually have those wheels sitting here in my room for my 86 iroc that i will be fixing up this summer. But my question is will i need spacers to run these wheels? And what is the widest tire that i can run on an 18x9.5 without having a really low side wall?
The demisions of the wheels are:
18x9
5 on 4.75
+14mm

Running 18's is no problem, but if you want a big sidewall they might not be the right size for you. I'm running 18x9.5's on the rear and closest to OEM dimensions is a 275/35/18 tire.
There are alot of companies that make wheels for our cars, they just aren't advertised as 82-92 Camaro/Firebird wheels. Pretty much all billet wheel companies can make wheels to our spec. Bunch of choices there. Then you have the second option of running 4th gen F-body wheels and spacers. So any wheel advertised for a 4th gen can work with our cars, there a bunch more selections again.
As for those wheels you have picked out, what backspacing are they?

Thanks for the info CrazyHawaiian. I like the wheel and tire combo that you have. I would'nt go any lower on the side wall than what you did. Have you had any problems with them rubbing? What about pot holes. Where i live the roads suck and i am constantly slowing down to avoid these giganic pot holes that at about the width of my car.

At the moment i do not plan on lowering the car, unless it looks stupid. Right now my main focus is getting the car painted and then to get the wheels mounted. I'm not sure what size tire i will put on it. I want to put the widest tire on the back that is possible w/out it rubbing. And i want a on the front that is skinner than the one on the back w.out it rubbing also. Just a beginner here needing a little info.

Regarding these rims - I saw them in person the other day and that affected my decision. I saw them both polished and in chrome. The chrome is very bright and might overpower the car. The polished looked very good though. The only problem is... they do not make the polished rim for our cars.
What crazy Hawiaan said is true - there are a lot of options out there but I have found that I usually know more about rims than the people who sell them at various dealers. I can rarely get offset numbers and several guys who sell rims said they have never heard of the term and do not know how to answer me. Some cannot tell me what backspacing numbers are either - they just have a computer that tells whether or not the wheel will fit and whether or not they will give an warranty that they will fit. I will have to do my homework and figure this out myself and tell them what I want. It is a long process to track this down. That is why these boards are helpful - a way to pool our info.
