ASCD cowl hood
ASCD cowl hood
Hey everyone,
I recently purchased an ASCD 2" cowl hood, and was wondering what you guys thought of ASCD. The other thing i was wondering is do you need different hood shocks for the fiberglass hood. I was told that the shocks for the steel hood would go right through the fiberglass and that you need lower pressure shocks. If this is true does any know where i can pick up a pair of fiberglass hood shocks. Thanks for all of your help.

I have a ASCD hood and I love it. I used my stock shocks and have had the hood for over a year and no problems!

Not having a fiberglass hood myself, I've heard stories that the struts you want are OLD USED struts that don't have full power anymore. Therefore...hit up your friends for their shot struts
...offer them new ones
