Mothers Billet Metal Polish BEFORE / AFTER PICS?
I have been using Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish for years and recently was told to switch to Mothers Billet Metal Polish which is like 3X the cost for only 4oz.
Does anyone here happen to have BEFORE / AFTER pictures of metal using ONLY Mothers Billet Metal Polish ???
What EXACTLY makes Mothers Billet Metal Polish better than Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish ??

I did notice a verryy slight difference going from Eagle One to Mothers "billet" polish when I polished my motor.
On my Welds though I don't bother spending all that money for wheels that will just get dirty anyways. Instead I use the cheaper Eagle One on those.

I know it's the only stuff I'll ever use....it even has a guarentee to be the best product you'll ever use on billet aluminum. Also, it really depends what you use to apply it. I use microfiber towels..and it made a huge difference from just using some regular soft towels.

I use this stuff called autosol. It comes is a tube. I find it to works really well and it is pretty cheap. Way better then Eagle One, from my experience.

you know...
I took my rims and one side put the regular Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish and the other side with the Mothers Billet Metal Polish.
And I have to say, tried as I could, I could NOT SEE ANY DIFFERENCE whatsoever. Perhaps because my rims are BRAND new??
I did however know 1 thing about the two :
Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish - Turns DARK brown/black
Mothers Billet Metal Polish - BLACK, TAR BLACK, DARK DARK BLACK..
Other that that, I see no difference. Especially anything that would mean 1 oz. LESS for like $8 - $10cdn MORE.. I don't know.. I don't get it.

If you want to try something else, get some MicroFiber Towels, there are many different brands...but any should do. The MicroFiber I'm using has about 90,000 threads per square inch and is by far the best towels to apply and wipe off the product. MicroFiber are the only type of towels I use on my car. They can get very expensive...but it's just another one of those "you get what you pay for" items

yeah, that's the bad part about it....you can't really use them as near as much as any other usual towel when polishing aluminum. I just wash mine with dish soap by hand and toss them in the dryer. I can get about 5-6 uses out of them...but I buy them by the bulk

The reason your not seeing a huge difference between the two polish's is because your Torq Thrust II's are a cast aluminum wheel. If they were forged or billet then you would notice alot more of a difference.

You can wash them in the washing machine with warm water. Just don't put them in with anything else or they will catch all the lint and stuff. You can also wash them by hand with soap and warm water. I detail cars on the weekends and have been using the same microfiber towels for months now. You've just gotta put some work into keeping them clean.
