You mean these?

Remove the lenses, and you have to cut back behind the lip because the front clear piece is layered/glued to the front...kinda hard to explain but you take about a half inch off of the front. Then get some plexiglass and glue it to the remaining turn signal piece, and sand it down then tape the center part and paint around where you glued so it doesn't show .. thats about it pm me if you need further help thats a terrible explination. I bought some new ones for my car so these are available but they dont look real great

Sorry this is the only other pic I could find, they weren't on the car for long. You need to use plexiglass because the clear section is all one piece meaning that the bubbly white part behind the regular clear sheet isnt seperable (well I guess you could some how but it wouldnt look good). Just glue the plexi on and then sand it down with a dremel or something its not that hard. I could probably sell em for like $20 but there at my parents house and I wont have access to them for a couple of weeks.

Seal is real good, i like the chrome look but on my car i dont think it work without a chrome grill.
Since it isnt my daily driver it has only seen water a few times and thats when it gets a bath, no moisture or condensation issues so far though, i left the little "vent" hole in the bottom open in case and it works fine. Be real careful what kinda glue or epoxy you use though, plexi will fog over if the glue reacts weird, happened to my custom liscense plate lights i did (same way as fronts) it fogged over but still gives alot more light than the stock ones did and they look cool

i was just gonna ask about this, thanks guys!
i rigged up some LEDs in mine and i wanted to get rid of the square grate type of thing thats in mine so its just clear and i tried for about an hour to get the lense off, i had no idea it was glued on
the LEDs are a reddish orange color and are going to be rigged up to run whenever the car is on, running lights..
heres a pic of where they are at and how i hooked them up. i wasnt thinking when i unhooked them because i cut when the wires when i couldve just pulled the bulb out

You can pick up sheets of plexi glass at home depot or lowes.
Back in the window/door/glass part of the store, they have a rack with lexan and plexi in all diff sizes and thickness.
I bought my lexan to make headlight black outs from home depot for like $16. I had to buy 2 pc. 1 for each cover. Each pc. was around 8 bucks.
When I get ready to make my lexan T-tops i'll buy it from home depot too.

irocbirdbuilder--- Where did you get those blackout turn signals in the fenders or did you make them. If so how. They look real good and thats exactly what i want to do too mine. My car is the same color is yours with blackouts in the back and orange just does not match anything at all. Thanks for any help.

Made em, took two layers of i believe it was 20% tint film on em, 2 layers made it darker but at night you cant even tell its there. I like em but until the car became slightly darker than what it was when i bought it they dont look right to me, i will be probaly ordering clears for it. I had the blackouts in the back for awhile but i kinda grew out of em...The body mods and paint just made those look real cheesy on my ride so i took em off painted all the black and polished the ambers.
Btw, welcome my teal brotha.....Gotta love the color

Thanks for the reply. I never thought of just window tint. Great looking car and I agree teal is one of the best colors for our cars.

I'm gonna be doing the insides of 2 sets with that new type of spray on metal they have. I have a friend that has the kit, so hes gonna hook me up. I think its pretty expensive to do if you didnt have a hookup. They can spray on this coating that looks and acts just like metal. I cant remember the name of the product, I'll have to ask my friend. The main idea is that you can polish the inside to be reflective. Combine with flat black on the outside and the housing is going to look great. For the lense, I'm gonna try soaking them in a few different cleaning solutions. I think its possible to get them looking good again. I'll post pics when they're done.
