How about valve covers?

I've been looking into getting a set of valve covers for awhile...and I haven't seen exaclty what I'm looking for yet. I've done several searches and alot of people run chrome or polished valve covers...which isn't what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a set of brushed aluminum or something similar to these:

http://www.jegs.com//cgi-bin/ncommer...95&prmenbr=361

I haven't found a set that are center bolt style. Can anyone point me somewhere to find a set other than jegs or summit?

I would ask some guys on the TPI board..but...there are to many a**holes there...and this is an appearance question.

why dont you buy a set of the ones you like in the normal bolt pattern, and then use the centerbolt conversion bracket.

take a wire wheel on a grinder to your stock covers, it will look sweet, not too shiny, not too dull.

I really like the look and the sytle of those...do they come in different finishes?

RebelRacer, that would be possible...but I'm wanting a more smooth..beefy look...and the stock covers have indentations on them...plus..I'm not even sure if the stock covers are aluminum...if they aren't..they will rust...

Those in flat or semigloss black (w/ the machined chevy text) would look awesome.

Here's mine. The pic is kind of washed out, but they are a brushed/polished kind of finish. These could also use a bit of a cleaning probably, I got em on ebay

Agreed. The transition in colors from red to silver is very nice IMHO.
