Close to what your looking for.....I didnt put the stripes on but i put the door decal on. Ive had it painted a plum color thats not stock. And removed the door rubber bumpers. Im thinking of putting on the stripes tho what do you guys think:

Nice car swede! Love the colors.

jcurrie, your car looks real good too. I wasn't sure if that was just a thirdgen with Iroc decals or what because I know that some came in a "plum" color. Not sure of the true paint code but it looks good on thirdgens IMO. That pic, is that with the Dropzone springs? The front end looks extremely low! I like it. As far as putting the lower stripes on, I say go for it. I know IROCs best by the complete striping and not just the door decals. Looks better to me for some reason. Either that, or no decals for a clean look. Something I thought about for a long time before I put the decals back on. Later

Not sure if this counts as it's not an IROC, but here's my, '91 Z.
Not the best pic, it was taken last year rather quickly before storage.

thanks man!! yep its a true iroc... its got everything irocs had except the stripes cause its been repainted. And of cource its got the B4Z rpo code. The factory plum cars were abit more purple and lighter then mine and i think only around for 91-92 or something like that.... never on an iroc. As for the springs yah they are the dropzones with a little extra trimming done to the front set....not recomend for anyone else to do unless they are a diehard fan of the look as the ride is tight but rough and you will need to mod some new more durable bump stops which i need to do still....and deal with scraping and rubing...and be very careful where you drive.

My vote goes to Abubaca and IROCThe5.7L's rides.

Here's mine (since this pic I have re-installed the fog lights):

Absolutely. Owning the car is a privilege in a way. You'd be surprised about how many keep tabs on it through me.

Let me tell you, the car is a complete blast to own. I've actually had a person come up to me once and suggest that I modify the car. I couldn't help but laugh. TRAXION's workmanship on the car is done so well and other than the shifter and the gauge pod (picture below) the car looks so stock.

Why? It looks pretty pimp! Black is awesome looking, especially with the wheels looking like that. Are they polished or just in really good shape?

They are polished. I polished them when they were on my Red 89 IROC. Then I sold them to him.

I will hate to see him sell it. It's a great car. I wish he was willing to sell it when I got mine. Much better starting point!

This is my 89. These are from 2000. I was in high school, so stuff I thought was cool - wasn't. Ignore the mud flaps and dull tires. I also regret the 91 Z wheels. Oh well...

Thanks for the clarification drain. I too know how it is with A LOT going on. I have not driven my car for real in well over 2.5yrs and thought about selling it numerous times.

demonspeed, your cars looks good with the black and red combo. We are seeing a lot of the color combos in this thread for the Irocs. As for the white one you posted, it looks pretty clean but those wheels look better on his '93.

Hopefully the 93 will be sold this weekend. I will replace it with a ls-1 car and most likely the zr-1 will go on the 4th gen they did look sweet on my 93 Z. Eventualy I want to get some ccw/fiske or something with a polished lip and black centre and a 18x13 rear

18X13", That would be interesting. Mini-tub? I've seen Supras with 18x12s but I have yet to see "street" cars with 18x13" rears.

demonspeed,

Thats a tough question, & I really haven't determined that. I have roughly around 25 Thousand invested (which I realize I will never get back) I have 20K in reciepts that I will include with the car. The price is yet to be determined. I honestly at this point have no idea. I have been pre-occupied with other distrations in my life and I plan to put the car (as a start) on eBay in May or June.

I understand your frustrations. It's always hard to put a price on something you have so much into. I had over 15 in my 93 Mustang GT that I sold 2 years ago. I only got 7800 for it. Kinda sucks, but that's our hobby.

Nonetheless, it seems like a very well put together vehicle. I'm looking for a 91/92 myself, but when you sell, someone will be getting a nice car. Good luck.
