Re: Hottest looking IROC-Z's
I haven't had it to the track, but it dynoed at 295 rwhp. and 355 torque. The base hp was 215 rwhp and 337 torque. I was pleased with that since I didn't want to abuse a stock 350. It has 42lb injectors, custom chip, only putting out 5 or 6 psi., and a 3 core intercooler.

Re: Hottest looking IROC-Z's

I would like to someday go to LSx of some version 1-9 with the Procharger...if i blow my L98 combo up...
Ohh by the way mine is the weaker P1SC....I still love this little torque monster of a tpi motor though.

Re: Hottest looking IROC-Z's
I think that the IROC-Z my wife had purchased before we got married was one of the nicest IROC-Z's on TGO after we finished painting it and getting wheels for it, but that's a biased opinion.

In all honesty, I did the strut brace with lowering springs, poly bushings throughout, and wider wheels. So it's hard to say how much difference it makes. Maybe one of these days I'll pop it off and see if I can tell. I'd say yes though, everything upfront feels nice and tight.

Thanks! It's a crate 350 short block, AFR 180's, Comp 218/224, headers and exhaust, ported tpi, ran a best of 13.8 on the stock chip. Needs a tune to get more out of her.

Re: Hottest looking IROC-Z's
I would suggest making a thread filled with pics of your car and what you have recently done to in in the appearance board so that its fresh in peoples memory... I feel like sometimes the "nicest" car, can be the one that gets good pics and lots of comments, and has been put infront of people.

That cool. I'm from Tracy in the central valley. Yeah I'll have to look at the Norcal message boards some more.
Yeah, I understand about that strut brace. I've gotten to the point with my car where the drive train has been gone through. Now I am going to turn my attention to the suspension and the brakes next.

Thanks man, where in Norcal are you? You should definitely look at the Norcal message board and check out some of our upcoming events.
