color choice of air cleaner?

i sanded my tpi plastic air box real smooth, and now i want to paint it, should i use a primer first? and second, should i go gloss black, or chameleon paint for a little visual perk.

I would definitely go with gloss black unless you have the chameleon paint somewhere else on the car. If you just do the air box with it, I think it will look out of place.

I like the chameleon idea, But do other things in it, on my old bird i had my intake piping, radiator support(plastic piece with fan), strut towers and some other little odds and ends done and they looked sweet

i went ahead and made it gloss black, it looks lovely, i even painted my blower motor box, they match nicely!
