shave gas cap
i saw it done once where could you relocate it to my car is getting custom fiberglass interior so not inside
no gas on the painted fiberglass
no gas on the painted fiberglass
graboid did it and so have a few others. you want to relocate it but not to the point where you have to fill it from the inside.
hmm.. that's a new one, i wish you luck and would like to see it. have a fiberglass cover that is removable on that side so it won't be a problem is about all i could suggest.

That would be cool. I'm shaving my door handles and antenna, so this would be a good addition. Where exactly would the filler be relocated to? And how?

If I remember right I think I have seen pictures of someone who creates a hinging taillight or wwas in the process of doing so. He just hinged it and hid the gas cap/plug or whatever behind it. That would defidently be slick as hell and while your at it you might as well make it pop open by remote.

i'm bringing this back, I'm trying to figure out how to hinge my taillight to put the filler neck behind it. This is the only picture of it that i've seen done on a camaro

behind the license plate is a good idea. I love the cutlass for the fact that I can pull up to a fuel pump either way. I dont gotta worry drivers or passengers.

i like my 79 Z for that fact the filler panel that says Z28 opens and theres the gas cap. If it wasn't about impossible I would do it. I'll probably just end up doing it like redraif. The only way i could think of to eliminate the hatch latch would to be to reverse the way it opens. like this

Another thing that could be cool was to separate the black inner section of the taillight as shown in the pic above with the hinged taillight, but instead hinge the black part and somehow relocate the gas cap hidden behind there. Probably would be a tight fit though...
