Need to know if 235/50/18 will fit a camaro...

I need to know if 235/50/18 will fit all the way around or if 245/50/18 will fit. I've tried the local tire shops to find out but they cant tell me without mounting it on the car. Which wouldn't be a problem if the car had inusrance on it right now. But the car is still in storage until we get some nice weather and not snow. I know that most of you guys think that a 235 and 245/50 are huge but i am getting a great deal and i just need a set to get on the car for now. Its going to paint this weekend and I'm running low on money so these tires are all i can get right now.

Yea, thats what i've got on there right now, but i'm going to take off after i get my car painted. I was looking at a set of 235/50/18. I used the tire calculator and they are no wider but they are like maybe 2in taller. I was just wondering if I would have any trouble with them rubbing.

Go with 245/45/18....that is what I am running.
Eventhough it is a 45 series tire, some manufactures sidewall is 'fater' than others.
Case in point, When my Bridgtstone Potenzas went out, I went with Toyos. After the guy installed them, I looked at the front of the car, and there was no way I could drive away like that. Even though they were the same size as my previous Bridgstones, the Toyos were much fatter, and thus were hitting the inside of my fenders!

They had to remove the Toyos and put on some new Potenzas...
