go buy one of those car drying chamois, they get almost everything, then go over it with a towel or somthing to get the little tight spots.

you guys don't have trouble with the chamois leaving streaks? every one i've ever used leves streaks. almost like it has soap in it.

I too hate water spots. Even a chamois leaves some small ones. Thats why I find myself waxing the car damn near every time I wash it, even if I say to myself I'm just gonna wash it before I start. They bother me too much to leave them

You guys need to grab some NXT detail spray, i'm telling you that stuff works wonders. And works a million times better with the microfiber towels.
I think I washed my car twice all last year, i "detailed" instead with the detail spray and it always looked awesome. No fine scratches, and no water spots.
