no they definately aren't real...lol. but they were on there when i got it. the only thing i like about them is that they make the car look different from other thirdgens. i really want a ram air hood . ah i'll get one eventually...but it wouldn't do a 2.8 any good lol.

Good choice I was 16 when I got my baby, have had it for 2 years now and I love it to death Just my opinion but the scoops are disgusting.....they look good on trucks, not F bods. Other than that great car man, your gonna be happy with it

PS - Dont think the 2.8 can do anything? check out my video

welcome to the addiction others call thirdgens. I agree about the scoops, would look good with a 2inch cowl hood though!

I don't think the scoops look that bad, I got my 3rdgen when I was 16 by working summers, congrats on that. Personally I'd drive that 2.8 into the ground and do suspension upgrades for when you do put in that 350. Sharp lookin' car at any rate!

I must toally agree with him above. I have a 305 in my bird right now, and will not put my 350 into it until the body, suspension, and the interior is ready to handle the horse. Push that 2.8 until the car is ready, not you!

I think you should do the black on the headlight area. Also maybe ditch the rs grille and get a Z28 one, and they are pretty
cheap.

Looks pretty good your missing a center cap. That would bug the hell out of me. Need to get rid of the scoops. You bought a hell of a starter car its unlimited what u can do it. And as some others have been saying whats wrong with having gobs of horsepower and no suspension work. That makes the car fun as hell to drive. My car is completly stock in the rear suspension except the lowering springs. And i love getting sideways in it. I think it would be boring if it hooked everytime i got on it

I'm in MD too, though in western md right now for college. I'll be heading over to OC in May, just not with the Camaro.

yours looks good, but like others have said, lose the scoops

hey guys...does anyone want to buy this car? lol. i think it'll be easier just to buy a v8 car than to do an engine swap. i'll sell or do some trades if ur interested just make an offer

I think Ram Air hoods on Camaros is quite lame, you guys have way to many choices of hoods to peruse through, us firebird guys have less than a handful of options.
