What are some good tire sizes for my 85 bird.I just bought some new 15" rims and new tires!
Can you give me a couple different sizes just in case they dont have that size.
Thanks

I've got 295/50R15 on the back of my '82 T/A. I had very little problems with rubbing. Nothing that a hammer couldn't take care of!! But my wheels are the '79-'81 turbo wheels. They are 15x8.5, so the 295's look fat on the car, but not too fat for the wheels. I've also got 225/60R15 in the front. I want to change to something fatter though. I'm gonna check if 265/50R15 will fit!!!! I'll update when I know.

If they are 15 x 7 rims, your car would look cool with 245/60's in the rear and 235/60's in the front. This will give the car a nice stance without looking "goofy".

I am running Dunlop GT Qualifiers (265-50-15) all the way around on the turbo 15 X 7 rims, no problems. Car is lowered, and the fronts will rub on the frame at full lock. BFG makes the same size, 65-85$ a piece depending on where you shop.

Bilstien Shocks & Struts

265/50-15's on stock rims (really)
Lots of TLC

Geezus, youre running 295's???? Thats huge. I was gonna get 275's for mine, but didnt want to have to grind my tie-rod ends, and i got a good deal on kuhmo 712's 245, 45, 17's.

I have BFG 235 60's on front and 255 60's on back. Mounted on chrome Cragar "saw-tooth" 15x7 and 15x8 rims. Also have airshocks to give some extra clearance and give it a good looking stance as well.
