the pearl gives it a nice touch.

If you dont mind me asking, does the pearl just mix in with your existing paint? If so, do you know how much for just the pearl to mix in?

Nice car..

I'm shure there are a few ways to do it, such as in your clear as well, however my painter buddy put it in with the base coat on the last 3 layers of black. and put 1 oz in, they charged me 5 bucks that that LOL.

and for all my paint and stuff which I used which was the crappiest, made by PPG .....OMNI. its got an omni base, however I used a value pro for the clear, and omni epoxy primer, and then ummmm another good name brand of finishing primer

that epoxy primer by omni is VERY bad times

all and all, I think i probably put about 1200 dollars into this car, canadian. including a a proffesional spray dude in a booth.

but I did all the body work and prep. oh well major differance, very happy

ive got a question In both sets of pics the paint looks more blue than black

if i use less pearl like 1/2 an ounce will it turn out more like im wanting it

i want it to look jet black but when hit by direct sunlight you can see some blue peak at you...might do stripes or a checker flag scheme in the pearl and then leave the rest of the car jet black..just two ideas i have

This is the same treatment my bay will recieve later this month!

This is my Nissan's bay...straight out of the gun! No overspray or trash here, even though we painted it in the garage! Not easy though! I could not imagine shooting a whole car in those conditions! I'm not sure if dry spray, or running the paint is harder to fix!

No good close up shots, but here is my dash... done @ the same time...you can see it has quite the slick coat... (same as the bay) painted outside no buffing!

You would be amazed the fight we had with gun pressure & compressor condensation...have to get everything to vaporze just right! Joe did an awesome job on both!

I just hope RAIF's engine bay turns out as sweet!
