Usually I would say loose the hood and lower it, but I must say it really looks good like that and the wing w/out the aero GFX look even better.........I even kinda like the white trim around the back window, witch is a no in my book.

............ok so that im not a complete suck-up , I would def get some newer tail lights.

Looks nice so far bud

Thanks on the comments guys i work pretty hard on this car. The hood is soon to go even though i'm surprised how good it turned out with the car.

The hood will be an SS or just a stock z28 hood. What do you guys think i should go with.

Grid tail lights-getten soon

Not too shabby man. I agree with lowering it and getting some grid tail lights for sure. The hood could def change as well IMO. I prefer to run fast before I look fast, but your car looks nice. Get that motor in there soon.

The tires in the rear are 295/35/18. I'm glad you guys like how its turning out but.

You ever know when your project gets painted then you move on to other stuff and you feel as if you could have done soo much better on the car. All the little stuff is gettin to me its like i want to start all over on it or maybe even a whole nother car. My body work isn't the best it could be. Tiny dents missed here or there. I dont like t-tops anymore because of this experience with leaks and seeing the previous owner had let some water get in the car that i am now repairing rust. I dunno very . Makes me agitated when i clean the car pickin up every tiny imprefection.

Vortech305. I even rolled the fender lips! it didnt need any of this crap. I could bring the tire in like 1/4-1/2 inch in plus lower more. I cant belive i touched these fender lips cause it didnt need it. I guess it was to be safe tho oh well.

This is what i was thinken. Get a Mint Z28 shell with barely any rust. Hard top. Manual set up already. Set it aside. And restore ever sqaure tiny little inch.

Then look for
mint used fenders
Mint used front and rear bumper
Mint used Rs Gfx cause their much more clean imo the ones like mine
All new glass.
Brand new z28 hood.
Brand new z28 wing

Paint the car Pearl white with ghost flames and let it sit in storage till the paint healed. damn id love it.

I might seem crazy but gees my rs pisses me off somtimes. YOU guys might not see it. But up by the t-top bar toward the edge where it butts up theres a tiny dent the size of a pen cap that i cant get to nor fix. cause its in the middle.I hate using fillers. I want a mint car
dreams dreams

Heres a little before pic of my maro. Look how much the bumper sags in this pic people need to learn how to drive. I brought it up a bit tho.

Looks great, keep up the good work. I know what you mean about the imperfections, if you are like I am..you're your own worst critic. Most people would never notice the imperfections but because you know its there it drives you crazy.

Yeah i guess for a little bit lol. NO HYDROS aloud though sorry. lol jp car looks nice. same here i dont like that big fat spacer in there. Oh well z06's are worth it imo. I heard stories of people putting them in the "Drift scene" with no problems. And also planting the tires down with good hp with spacers and no problems. So thats not a worry. You cant notice it too much . Plus if you have a lot done to the car its hard to even get a chance to look at that kind of stuff. For instance a stranger coming to look.

What custom later on? It better be Custom z06's with our offset

Yeah it does handle much better, When turning the wheel back and forth quickly to test out the difference, it doesn't have that sidewall roll the dives into the turn its much more controlled and smooth.

Thats awsome whitez! theres like no one around here that has a camaro fixed up glad to hear someone is moving around here with one. Are you moving here or just coming down for the summer. . How old are ya

Just out of curiousity..

What was your process for rolling the fender lips?

I am getting a set of corvette ZR1 rims soon so I am thinking that I am going to have to travel that route.

I am also planning on having to "massage" the inner fender wells.

dmonarch, I used the "Chicane Jimmy" What it does , is it clips onto the lip part, then by using and upward motion it rolls . Like you bend it up . You repeat this by going back and forth, alittle at a time. Then using a nice flat body working hammer (whatever their called). Slightly tap the lip if its not fully rolled in. Mine i rushed a little bit so when i re do the car i'm going to heat the lip up, pull it out a bit and re hammer it so its very smoothe and no hammer marks.. hopefully lol but yeah search for the "chicane jimmy" i think it was like 60 bucks but worth it.

But as up to date i'm working on getting the z28 hood with blisters in the past few weeks along with grid tail lights, trenz grille mounted (tommorrow). Car show is june 10&11th. I dont know if i will be able to lower it properly by then... I dont really want to cut the dropzone springs that are on there So i have a dead line and i'm goin crazy
