Looks good. Its getting there for sure.

In the last pic is looks kind of like the white on the hood of the SC has taken over the car all but the back bumper.

Everytime I see a Third Generation without the ground effects, "mw66nova" immediately comes to mind....

awww shucks...thanks guys!

the thing is so much more involved than i originally thought, but nevertheless, the car is solid now!

i will be moving back home in a few weeks and so i will have full access to a garage again. it's gonna be nice. then, i'll start really crankin on body work. it's gonna take some time, but i think i can have her ready for paint in a few weeks. it's not getting a crazy nice paint job where the car is going to be completely dissassembled for paint though. the body work will be done, and then i will put everything from my red car into this one. then, when all that is said and done, it will recieve a nice mask and paint by my buddy jeremy.

I love sleepers!! Just one question, what are you going to do about the front clip? That style clip was made to have ground effects and it looks cheap without them imo, are you gonna keep it like that or...

oh, it's getting the ENTIRE front clip from the 87 and i already had a spare rear bumper cover, that's what's on it in the pic, is my spare rear bumper cover. i'm gonna determine which is in better shape and then go from there.

anyone have a windshield in perfect condition that they wanna give/sell cheap to me? i need one in the middle GA area.

oh, and i have an entire 85-90 gfx kit for sale/trade to include bumper covers...the front has seen better days but could probably be fixed with some patience and some kind of rubber epoxy compound.

you have a pm about the gfx...

oh, and what am i gonna do with the 87? well, i thought maybe i could build a v6 (i got 2 of them at the house right now) and put together a little daily driver. i have an entire interior that could go in it and it probably wouldn't take much. the wiring is completely ripped out of the car though for a carbed sbc so i would guess i'd have to try to piece together a harness for the mpfi...or, i was thinking about putting it together as much as possible, like a rolling chassis type of deal, and trade for some beat up ol' 4 banger/5 speed pickup truck

yeah, but fourth gens will still get their butts handed to them by the mighty 305 in the new car. and it will look a ton cleaner doing it! imagine getting wooped by a white version of my 87 with iroc wheels and some massive 295/50/16's out back....

and i could really use a pickup truck...

and the interior is going to be something else. i'm not sure if i want to let ya'll in on the plan for the interior, or just wait and until i get it done and let the pics do the talking....

I can relate as well I didnt have as much luck with my old 305 as mw66nova has had.

Looks like its goin good man...though Im a GFX kinda guy myself. But the S/C thing does make it a bit of a sleeper, I remember thats why i bult my old 82 up. I remember first time I hit the track in that thing. I had just primered it black, SS Cragers all around, and had installed my intake, shifter, cam, headers....basically all mods. People came up and snickered at it...back then I had the stock RS/base model hood on it. Got couple laughs and some guy in his "worshipped" Integra was parked beside me in lane 3 and was talkin to his buddies and groupies about my car. I remember when we went to stage and the guy at the line told me to back up. Guy in the Integra was like "why you letting him in the burnout box man! That thing ont spin the tires, its just raggedy loud (the things open headers do ) The tech pointed at my rear tires and the Integra guys cockiness disappeared when he read "E/T Streets" Lined up and when a damn 305 hooks hard and squats and launches hard, its always great to see the faces. Even though I only ran a 9.59 and my tranny gave out on that run too, which is why i was so slow ....but once I finally got the TH350 in and the cowl, not to mention my duals, it was always great to see those expressions of WTF? considering NO ONE builds S/C's and those looks of "Damn! I thought that was a V6!" was always great

Anyways sorry for whoring this out but good luck man and keep it going, I wanna see this new beast in action

same principals apply. this car will recieve a fresh white paint job at the end of august though. it'll sport the 15" ralleys at the track till i can afford some draglites, which will add to the sleeper effect for a while. nothing on this car says it's fast, other than the cowl and the et street radials, but with my luck, no one will notice the d/r's till i am well in front of their car. hoping for LOW 13's this fall with a new double pumper carb and some other things going in.

You should really consider an ECM from the LG4, not to control the Carb of course, but to provide it's electronic spark control only. Believe me when I tell you, it will do wonders for you're engine's curve...
