pics of BADLY damaged quarter panel, fixed now!

engine bay and stuff

vicki helping clean

and the other project:
this is Kody's 84 berlinetta. he picked it up for $400. we had to wait about 12 hours for the guy to show up so we could pick this car up cause he decided to go to work instead of have the day off like he said he would. anyways, here is Kody waiting for Willie to show up:

here is a pic of the car where it sat for 9 years. it looks a TON better now and i'll try to get some pics of what it looks like now. since i got some irocs for my ride, my black rs wheels went on this.

anyhow, let me see some of ya'lls progress pics.

we are all really excited about this new car. Kody has the new blue car. it is his first thirdgen and he is really just jumpin' in and tryin' to learn as much as he can. it's pretty cool. Vicki has no clue about anything car wise, but she likes to hang out with the guys and always wants to know when we're workin' on the "hotrods". the white car has come along way. the last few days it has recieved a new pass side door and the majority of the body work is done. just some filler and sanding from here on out. i'll try to get some more pics of the white car here in the next few days.

You gotta love chicks that dive in and get their hands dirty though, even if they don't know anything about cars. One of my favorite pictures of my wife (8 years ago when she and I were dating) was taken as I was working in the garage as she was helping me clean my valve covers from my '70 vette using an SOS pad, sitting in a lawn chair in the front yard of my former room mate's house.

Now she drives her '00 Mustang GT 'vert and wants more mods. I got her a MAC X-pipe last year for her birthday and she wants Flowmasters this year. Gawd I love that gal...

One statement and question though... The white car has ground effects! Don't you hate those?

the rs will remain white....with some extras....

oh, and just in case anyone wonders, even though it is getting some SportCoupe treatment for body mods, it will remain an RS and will be labeled as such. i think you guys will really like how i am going to label it too.
