Just thought i would share some of my more favorite pics of my car from the chicago and NW indiana board's track day last saturday at US 41 dragway.

i was thinking about getting my windows tinted. I have the 91-92 bowtie grill to put on too. (has base none fog grille now) Should i put fogs in it or do some kind of mesh?

You shoulud definitely get the windows tinted, just to protect your interior a bit. And the fog lights would look better with the grill. But the mesh may let more air into the radiator, and be a lot cheaper.

 

so what all is done to the motor. Cause i can see you have headers and diffrent runners. anything else?

Well, i bought it in Nov. of 01' w/ 42k on it, and its july of 05' and I still only have 56k on. I couldnt bear to let it sit outside or drive it in the winter with that van nyes paint. Dont worry, I dont beat on her too much. Ive put too much time and effort into her to do that.

 

Do you get nervous and sick when you have to leave it in the sun?

I know I do sometimes, even though I haven't had any problems with the paint.... yet.

 

As far as I know the car has been a garage queen its entire life. the one summer when it had to sit out for about 6 weeks I was a little worried. These days, it is very rare for it to be out in the sun for more than a few hours at a time. I really dont drive it as much as i have in the past. I would be surprised if put 2,000 miles on the car this season.
