Stripped Rims- see the amazin' results

Using a $5.00 can of Aircraft stripper my rims now look brand new. Everyone with bad paint or clear coat <A title="Best Gone" style="COLOR: #65b45c; TEXT-DECORATION: underline" href="http://69.42.87.204/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=10062" target=_blank>gone</A> bad should do this. My rims had lots of brake dust and junk on it.

Wait, does this work on the factory painted 15" RS rims too?

I have the white factory painted 15" 5 spokes on my car, and I want to try this, but wouldn't it strip the paint too?

I have alot of nasty brake dust and nasty crap on my rims, and nothing will get it all off, I am willing to try this only if it wont harm the paint.

I have white rims.. A total and COMPLETE pain in the *** to keep clean. I thought I would have to re-powercoat them because they were stained or something.

But I found a good cleaner at autozone, MAG cleaner by Eagle 1. It's made for alloy wheels, but it does a DAMN good job of cleaning my clearcoat wheels. They look amazing now.

1. How do I polish them? Do I need a buffer or can I polish by hand.

2. Yes it will remove the paint.

3. I bought the stripper from Auto Zone. Pep Boys has it also.

4. I combined the stripper with Eagle Alloy wheel cleaner and a large wire brush.

must the tires be removed? Or will the aircraft stripper not harm rubber?

just cover the tires with something, and IMMEDIATELY wipe the stripper off if it hits the tires.
