camaro hood on firebird

i know the obvious differences on the two hoods being the flip up lights but other than that are they the same size and everything. i want to take this camaro hood and cut it for firebird lights to work and put it on my firebird. will this work. the hood is really light and it is not metaql or firberglass, it is like plastic like. dont know.

I would deffinatly avoid that. Cuting and fabricating would not be feasable. If you want a new hood I would go to a local junk yard or order a fiberglass hood...

It's not only the headlights that you need to worry about. The overall curvature of the hood front to back is different, the firebird has slightly more curve to it. The only way to make it look right is to have a pro modify it, and then it woul probably be cheper for him to make one from scratch...

You'll also need to section it, 'cause the firebird hood is longer.
