attention to detail for undercarrige hardware
this is for the guys that do hardcore restorations...
how picky are you with the bolts for lca's, panhard, diffcover etc. do you go out and buy new ones or clean up the old ones and paint them or just clean off the rust make em look new and re-use them? just currious because im starting re-assembly of the maro.

well if they didnt come with new ones, make sure you are getting the right type of bolts (always better to go with new IMO)....I know with suspension you shouldnt use hardened steel bolts, as they dont flex much and may snap (in other words just dont go out and buy any bolt)

When I had all my suspension apart I took every fastner and bead blasted them and then had them all black oxided. They look great however, I'm not sure what finish they are "supposed" to have right from the factory. My thoughts are they are probably zinc washed?
