Anyone have BAD experiences with Clay Magic?

Man, normally I'm real wary of any product that proclaims "As Seen on TV!"...

So has anyone used it and come away with massive swirl marks or anything?

I used to work at a detail shop, and now I restore antique cars, and I swear by the clay bar. I have used both clay magic and 3m, and they both kick butt! Once every three months you're suposed to go over your car with it, then polish it out. Then throw some wax on it, and your good to go for another three months. Depending on where you drive your car obviously.

As with any thing good you need to use lots of lube

Seriously, make sure you use plenty of the lube/cleaner that comes with the bar. Some people like to use soapy water but you need to rinse a lot if you do that.

I swear by the stuff.

Get this... One weekend I get some of the old iron beds off base and I decide Im going to get creative to decorate the basement. I get the rustoleum primer and satin gold paint and I go to work in the garage. The Garage door was open and idiot me pulls the beautiful 97 T/A out the garage on to the driveway. Well after 4 hours of sanding, primer and painting, the racks looked like they came out of Pier One. Only thing was, four hours worth of overspray drifted out the garage and made a home of my white T/A. Talking about throwing a fit!!! For about a week, I tried every trick in the book to get the sh_t off. No luck. that is until a friend recommended clay magic. It took every thing off and it actually took out MINOR scratches. The car was beautiful again. Lesson learned, now I clay magic my car once a month. Gets out any road grim that gets embedded in the paint. It works!!!
