OK to use claybar???

hey guys sorry to make another topic but i just got the clay magic clay bar kit from autozone. Now i washed my car about 5 hours ago, and the only driving ive done since has been to autozone. I got a few bugs on the window and on the plastic nose area but my car should be alrite to use the claybar on, correct??? I mean other than those few bugs i mentioned its still spotless. Also i used the NXT detailer spray after i washed so its clean. So can i use the clay bar??

I got nothing to do tonight and want to get this done with!!

clay bar should provide some good results on a white car because they tend to yellow. It worked a miracle on my 91 celica, but didnt do jack to my red camaro. The clay bar is a cleaning tool so u should be fine. Dont clay bar one spot too much because you might take off the clear, happened to a small part of my celica fender

just look at the results:

RIP 91 celica, it was driven into a lake by the dude i sold it to, totally submerged in 6 feet of water for an hour and a half

Yeah it'll be OK. Worst thing that can happen is it'll take off whatever you just put on. I've found the best results when keeping the area you want to claybar really wet. I usually keep the waterhose running low pressure and hold it close, kinda like wet sanding, but not that wet. Then I do the car in portions and completely dry the portion when done. Then when the whole car is done I give it a good wax. I usually only have to use the claybar like once every 3 months or so...

You can use that Meguiars NXT detail spray to lube it up too. The instructions should say something like:"work a small portion at a time, and knead the clay often."

Follow the instructions.
