Yet another claybar praise...

All these posts about claybars and how great they are made me decide to take a trip to Autozone today to pick up a kit. I look around...can't find any so I ask if they carry them. "Claybar??" the guy at the counter said to me "What the hell is that?". Okay, so I went across the street to Checker Auto, and sure enough they had the Mothers kit on the shelf for about $16. Took the car to the carwash, got her all clean, and started clayin' her up...WOW! Definitely worth it I say! Go buy one people! Makes your car look like it came out of the paint shop...close enough anyways

You just make sure the car is clean, then spray the included lubricant on, and glide the clay across the finish...you can hear a gritty sound as the bar picks up stuff off the paint.

Bubba nope

Also just use the clay bar while washing the car.. The soap acts as a lubricant.

Clay is definitely awesome, I saw it do some incredible stuff when I was working detailing cars!!! Just make sure you wax after you use it because it takes everything off the surface of your paint, wax included. If you don't wax right afterwards it leaves your paint very exposed. But you all probably already knew that
