Well I got her out at least one more time this summer, but I may be selling it soon (college, rent, time management)....all of it isnt making the 'maro' the best toy to have. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy them (btw check out how bad my rake still is!)....the rest are on my cardomain, and as always, hi res for anyone who wants em

Let me be the first to say "damn, selling it would suck"... but I totally understand where your comming from. I've been there and done that with college behind me now.. heck I've almost got my student loan paid off.
Also let me be the first to day "dibs on the rims!!" if your going to sell the car without the rims/tires. You know I want them... we can hash out a good deal thats fair to both of us.
Also I'm totally interested in the high resolution pics, you car is sick. Hit me with'em to brisk(at)shaw.ca Thanks man.

I hate Ram air hoods on camaro's but that looks awsome. Just great. Now I am double thinking my decition to stick with my stock hood, cowl, and now ram air????
I too would love to know what color that is. I can't afford a paintjob that nice, but would love to know everything about it, cuz someday I would love to set mine up like that.
What door poper did you use??
Where did you order your hood??
THX for any replies, CAR IS AWSOME!!!!

ah.. ok, was about to ask whose car that was. Have many pics of that vehicle through its stages of development set to added to the next gallery update. Looks great , college is a bitch, but look at it this way, atleast you wont have to say that you lost it because you got married.

For the love of ***, dont sell it. I was going to sell my maro before i went to college. Im sooo glad i didnt. Plus with all the work youve done, theres no way youd ever get that money back. Id say unless its a last resort (ie, "aw crap, leroy's gunna bust my knees if i dont pay him tomarrow"), dont sell that beautiful beast!

Looks awesome man. I don't like that hood on Camaros, but in the first picture, I like it. I guess its just the angle. I know where you're coming from with thinking about selling it. I've considered selling mine recently since I'm not even in the same state as it is anymore, but I just can't. Good luck and hopefully you get to keep it.

Car looks awesome man! I am with the others...don't sale it...you will regret it later. Just think of all the time and money you have put into it. If you sale it, you better get a ****load for it.
BTW, you may want to think of lowering the rear a bit. The car looks a tad off with the rake.

wow, I didnt expect to come back on today and find all these nice compliments, thanks alot everyone (I remember when I first got the paint done and it was 50/50 on the love/hate lol). I really dont want to sell it, and if I did, I know I wouldnt see any price near what I would like to (even if I parted it out)....gotta remember, it's all show and no go with a stock engine and drivetrain. So around 15k into appearance would get me ___?
. I finally got most of the kinks out aside from my huge rake, which I can live with I guess). Ill weigh on it awhile, because luckily I have enough grants and scholarships to take care of me for awhile...if I can keep my current job and pay I should be fine. But we will see.
Brisk (or) Gr89rs- if I do decide to sell, Ill shoot you a PM...rims have less than 200 miles on them and the tread hasnt been roached once...Ill make sure we both end up happy.
The paint- yea it's tri-stage candy apple red from HOK (gold base coat). The door poppers were the VPA 40lb kit from Summit
Hi-res' pics will be sent tomorrow when I get internet at my apartment (up at the rents for the evening for my 20th
)
Thanks again guys, a year ago when I joined my car didnt hold a candle to 99% of your rides, I didnt even know our cars could be so diverse....thousands of dollars, and hours of labor later....I knew I could make some of you love that hood

....and as long as Im writing now, how bout a quick mini poll? Do you think I should put some exhaust tips on? I like the clean look I have now, but I think it could help compensate the rake a bit

The tips would look good, but not needed at all. Heck the rack the car has looks bad ***. If you do get tips look at something kinda like my old set up. 4" rolled angle cut tips. Here is a pic.....
can't really see it in this pic, but I hope you see what I mean.

you mean you don't have some bad *** **** exhaust sticking out of the rear of that thing? get with the program!! lol.. j/k
I really liked the stock exhaust on my IROC, and I too like the flowmaster cat back kit equally well.
However when I added the cat back kit I also installed some K&N's and cleaned up the air box (not gutted, but close). Removed the cat at the same time and went 3" exhaust all the way back.
What an improvment! Crisp sounding and instant throttle response and definatly a bit more power. The biggest improvment was removing heat. I recall opening the car door after a drive and it felt like an oven of hot air underneath the car.. now its as cool as a cucumber. Removing all that heat will increase longevity of, well, everything from exhaust to your engine, belts, hoses, etc.
Get more air in and out, just that simple. I say do it

camaroguy: try to keep that beautiful car. you'll regret it the second you get rid of it. hold out and try to just put a little back everynow and then for more upgrades later after college.

WOW!
that car is beautiful man!
if you sell it i would love to get my hands on it. but i dont have the money.
i dont really like the hood alot either, but it looks good on your car.
oh and exhaust tips, if you do them, make em subtle, like, 3" rolled tips.
