From another thread...
Exactly... same here! Just got the reminder today! WTF?
I noticed the 3rd (sun) airing of a Rides episode has been patchy on their scheduling the past few weeks... (1 and 2 being on Tues) used to be the 3rd airing on that following Sunday at 2... but they seem to be delaying the 3rd airings now... like a few weeks delay. the one Sunday was from a while back... weird!

Wonder why they changed the schedule?

Shannon, my little boy thinks your car is so cool he wants me to do our IROC like yours. His favorite color has always been red and he always wears red, rides a red bike and his favorite color to put with red is black. In fact, we spent hours online looking for his next bike which had to be red and black (Finally found a Trek). And my wife wanted me to tell you to keep up the great work and to remember that men who have big mouths are trying to make up for a lack of size in other departments!

He just turned Nine and is out with me in the garage anytime we do even the slightest bit of work on Pretty Girl. His exact quote was "That is soooo coool!" when he saw the pics of RedRaif. Funny thing is we were all discussing just recently accent colors (red) for our interior and motor (Hopefully I'll be able to keep the exterior black but Beau is a powerful influence!). Yes, my wife is too funny and knows all too well what you are going through as Pretty Girl was hers before it was mine (It was a gift on Fathers Day some years ago). She has always been good at shutting guys down either with a simple look or a few choice words! Her father was a Judo master and instilled in her a strength equal to her beauty and I am forever grateful. Keep up the beautiful work on RedRaif. - Michael, Beau, and Stephanie

but since its on a thirdgen and a girl's car on here its respectable and cool.
Well, I dont really think its "cool" but I also dont think she deserves to be insulted. Especially in a thread about her being on TV. She only deserves one thing, and thats a congrats. If you dont believe me then smell my macadema nuts and lava!!!

Some guys can respect a girl that is into cars and likes to put time and effort into them, then there are the other guys that hang out at the gay clubs.
Congrats redraif... keep it up.

Tired of seeing her car? Quit your bitching and build something better...if you can.

Honestly now...tastes differ and people like different things. I think it's been pretty clear that redraif's style is not gonna please everyone. Can we stop with the bashing already?

Seriously....like it or not, its my car, I'm doing it my way regardless of the nay sayars. Some of you need to grow up & realize that neither the car or I am going anywhere, so if you don't like it go play elsewhere. Starting the flame wars and killing threads is getting old and just making you all look like a donkeys behind! ENOUGH!

Actually, no matter what you say, youre the one who looks like a "donkeys behind", owning a car like that and being proud of it. If were so predictable, then why not ignore us? Because you cant and you know it! You need to grow up and realize what good taste is, and that we who arent afraid to tell you how it is arent going anywhere either.
LIKE I SAID EARLIER! https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/2498145-post50.html
This thread is NOT a "rate-my-car" thread. Opinions are of course had by all, but this is not the place for them. It is to congratulate someone on being aired on TV, someone who many of us know personally. Please learn some respect, and learn that "good taste" is an opinion, not a guideline. Flaming is frowned upon on TGO, so kindly keep it to yourselves, or hash it out in PMs with her if you really can't contain yourselves.

I guess what confuses me is the point of you trolls following me around like a bunch of groupies... Alot of wasted effort over something you hate so much!
What is the goal in following me to nearly every thread I post in and stirring up trouble, even when its a post that is technical or completely unrelated to an opinion thread? There is none outside of just making yourself appear immature... which again proves the dumb donkey statement!
Unlike you all, in most threads, I have something on topic to add to help or to answer a fellow members question. That would be the point of this board. The mindless banter can be best served on other less tech oriented sites...

mods you can delete this is it's not appropriate.
Edit- Consider it done. No need to upload images that have nothing to do with anything just to flame someone.

car isn't my cup of tea either..no big deal on that. HOWEVER, I would put anything on the line that says you all are claiming this respect thing b/c SHE is a GIRL. Now, before you shout "shovenist," let me tell you I have been in the military for 7 years now (an officer for 3) and have total respect for females and have worked with outstanding females in my time. I'm just keeping it real here. If that car was some 18 year old pimple poppin' kid you'd be all over his *** and try to ban him or some crap like that. If you say I'm wrong, your probably a liar. All I remember about the redraif is red tint and a whole bunch of red everywhere......not my cup, but if she likes it GREAT. Stop trying to win girl's hearts on the internet.

Most of the posts where someone was ripping her apart sound jealous that thier piece didn't make it to any shows and not publicized on television.
It's not my cup of tea either, but there are a lot of cars on here that aren't. They still deserve respect since they aren't tearing into your ride.
Good job red.

Not because she is a girl.

If you look at her car, there really are no "japanese" upgrades. R ICE in other words. She did go with some things that are over the top even for people who like modifying thier cars. However, you have to admit that her car has good work done to it. Its really hard to see good work nowdays.
I understand that her car "might" give thirdgen firebirds a bad name, or undermined value, due to its tuner like modifications, but you have to understand tha programs like that really don't know much about muscle and concentrate on tuners. Even rides is pretty crappy show. They have new cars and talk about old ones rarely, and inacurately.
The only program I would validate is the one that praises third gens, and even mentions them.
All in all I like Raif and its not a ***** mobile.
Now get off the girls back and modify your third gen the way you want to.!!!
WIth all that said, I just wanna say that I am rather mad that third gens are nowhere to be found in history books and auto magazines. I checked the muscle car book yesterday and they had camaros and firebirds. There was one picture of a third gen (for all the third gens mentioned). It was Knight Rider. I love Knight RIder, but thats just a mockary, so I took the book to the bathroom and pissed on it. (Really). Thats all they deserve. If it wasn't for third gens there would be no good looking American cars around today.
Thanks.
