aftermarket foglights?
i am thinking about getting some aftermarket foglights but i dont know what to get. I searched for some pics but i didnt find anything i liked. I want them to be rectangle but i want them to look different then the stock ones hince "aftermarket". Does anyone have any suggestions? pics would definitely help.

I really love the stock fogs.. but they cost sooo much (my car came equipped with them, but someone decided to take them off at one point).. $108.95 at Hawks PER SIDE... dear lord..

I just put the Blazers on my '92 car. I had some OEM's but couldn't get the wiring and justt sold them and went with the blazers. they are rectangular and look like OEM's. Mine sit a little deeper in the grill than the OEM's because I used the Blazer bracket but I kinda like that part. they work great and are very bright.
I have OEM's on my '86 and they work fine also. I say some fogs are better than no fogs. I just love the look.

I just went to pepboys and picked up a pair of rectangular ones for 70 bucks. They bolted right up to the stock brankets. Look nice. Same size and location as stock. I can post pics tonight if you wanna see them.

OK. I will be home later today. I can post pics then if I can find my digital camera. I really hope I find it cuz I want to start documenting my installation of my lambo door hinges.
Oh well, if I can't find it i will tell you the company that makes them.
I might have an old pic on my computer at home.

Piaa 1500XT driving lamps behind mesh, not gutter guard.
They blow away the factory lights and Blazers in every way. They outperform your stock headlights. They are a little pricey though.
I have a set of factory ones if anybody needs them. pm me

I found a set of "driving" lights at Advanced or Discount Auto. They were only $20 and looked real good in the grill. I don't know how well they work though, since I didn't feel like wiring them and went with some wire mesh instead.

you can buy replacement builbs from the store for like $5 a piece. then all you gotta do is figure a way to mount them and wire them up.

i think im going to do this too. but im going to put them behind a mesh grill i think not sure yet... i think you can buy the whole headlight assembly from walmart. like the housing and the bulb and everything. I know i just bought all new headlights for my car from there but i dont know if they have 4th gens. thanks srdynamics1 for that idea i think im going to do that.

I think I paid $80 for them at the local car audio shop about 3 years ago. I don't have a clue what they run now. But here's another picture maybe shows a little more
they have a fog light and spot light built in to them. As well as a turn signal or whatever you want to use it for. It comes with a blue bulb but i put in a white one.
driving lights on the inside turn signal in the middle and fog lights on the outside.
