I cant decide what color to paint my engine. I will be painting my engine bay semi-gloss black. My car is red. I was wanting something differnt from black b/c i want my engine to stand out. I think the chevy orange is to common and plain. So I was thinkin of painting my engine like a chrysler red. Sometihng that stands out. Dos any body have pic of there engine with unique colors? Or a pic of a Chrysler Red Engine color? Thanks!

Ahh, If your car wasn't red I would say to paint it orange, but I don't think the orange would look that great in a red engine bay...
Go with the the Black!

I painted mine with a cast aluminum finish. I wanted to keep it looking stock, but also look clean.

Although I know it's an LT1

Well if you want to be different...you could get Plum Purple engine paint
. But I would go with a nice glossy black.

whoa, i really like that cast aluminum finish. i have been thinking of painting my engine parts too and that looks real good. it would go well with red too.
What does grabber green look like? And I heard you can get custom paint mixes in a rattle can at like my local auto body store. I might consider doing that. Anyone know what a good custom color would go with a red car with a semi-gloss black engine bay?
black all the way baby.
