anyone used "the absorber" before?

I am looking for a good way to dry my car. I have a chamois right now, but it doesn't do much good. Their ads say it doesn't scratch the paint or anything, but I was wondering how well it worked at drying the car off.

I've got one it works great, another good drying tool is a big squeegee called "the Blade" or something like that, look for it in the appearance part of your local auto parts store. You can get a ton of water off quickly and then go over it with the absorber, you shouldn't have a problem with water spots again

Yea, I 've heard of the blade before. Doesn't it scratch your paint?

Nope, the whole thing is rubber, i thought it was plastic with just a rubber tip too, till I used one at a bodyshop. The guy that painted mine uses it on all his show cars, it's great, saves a ton of time

Man I cant say how much better that is than just using a shamie or any thing else..

I love it especally with a shiny black paint job.... towls leave streaks and little peices of fabric and is really noticible on black.

Best twelve bucks I've spent in a while

I use the Absorber. It's 10 times better than a chamois. It doesn't dry out into a stiff board, doesn't leave bits of leather lint all over the car, doesn't scratch paint, and doesn't leave water spots.

PS.. I have one in my detail kit, and keep one in the car for when the side and rear windows have dew on them.

Absorbers work great, and they're easy to clean- you just throw it in the washer and put it back in the tube wet & it's ready to go again.
