not up my alley but i was expecting worse. I think 18"s look jsut right on these cars, and im usually not into the chrome "bling bling" look

Not my thing either. 18's at the most.

The cowl and gfx look good, and the tails.

Too much bling IMO. I wouldn't go with anything bigger than 17's on these cars.

The car looks awesome except for the wheels.
Trade those 20's in for a set of 17 or 18" chrome Iroc's.

I think the car is nice, but the rims are too "escalade" style for me, I definately think a set of not so bling 17's or 18's would look better.

I honestly dont think its too bad, the color goes with the wheels, so its not like all you see is black paint and then nothing but chrome

Call me crazy but I think it looks good. Maybe lower it some more and I agree maybe go with a different style wheel in 20 down the road.

damn dude........

Were you in Moreno Valley a couple of days ago? I saw an IROC vert just like yours only some white guy with some funky hat was driving it.... it looked JUST like yours.

Have you let a white guy with a funny top hat drive your car? Cuz that thing is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!

looks good to me.. not my first choice on rims but I don't think they're that bad. I like the tail lights, and its a nice shade of blue.

I'm not sure if this will make to much sense, but to me it seems like your car is having split personality issues. The aero ground effects and the cowl hood give it more of an aggressive, muscle-car appearace while the intricate, blingin' 20-inch rims tend towards the smoother 'pimped out' look. I think either look would be great on your car, however you need to make up your mind which you prefer. To pull off the rims on the car currently, I think it would look better with the smoother Iroc-style gound effects, a flatter hood, emblems/handles smoothed out, etc...it needs to be really smooooth. However, judging by how the car looks now, that's probably not where you're headed with it. In that case, some slightly smaller rims (think 17-18s) with a simpler, perhaps less flashy five spoke design would perfectly fit the otherwise bad-*** look of the car. Either way, it certainly doesn't look offensive, the stance is pretty good considering the size of rims you have on the car and the rest of the car, devoid of rim choice, I think looks awesome. Good job.

20's look ok but those look like truck & SUV wheels. I dont like them on your car. There are some really nice 20's out there that would look awesome on a 3rd gen but not those.

Agreed. 20" chrome IROCs look so mean...

But those? Not my thing for our cars. On a truck or SUV they would work though.

could be worse...could be better...the rim design is too "busy" for me....just too much going on and reminds me of some ghetto escalade rims or something. Car looks great though. IMHO some simpler 20's wouldnt look bad if you really wanted 20 inches, but me id go 18's

nice job mani like it..i agree you should put the 92 wing on that would be sweet then...but all in all looks good
only thing about 20s on 3rd gen is...your car sits way to high and there isnt room to lower it..thats what i hate..unless you bag it and notch things..then you could get it looking really tight

i really like it i think it looks good the wheels arent that bad i think they make it stand out imo. it does need a high rise spoiler though, and i saw a guy on this site w/ those tailights and he had a black stripe through them i think you need to do that too.

20's would look good on that car... just not THOSE 20's. Something with a deep dish would work good and you might want to do 20's out back and 18's in the front for a little more aggressive stance.

Well I think 20"s look just right on 3rd gens because they have huge fenderwells. I think your car looks good.
Nice wagon wheels, where are the horses??
Wake up its 2005 they make 28" wheels, now that is a wagon wheel.

so did those wheels come with a Huge diamond cross necklace, a throw back baseball jersey, and a cap you can wearside ways?
Well most high-end hotrods these days have 20" wheels or bigger. Do you see Chip Foose or Boyd Coddington wearing a huge diamond cross, throwback jersey, and a cap worn sideways?

Its time people learn to accept different styles besides their own.

You have a nice car...If you like them thats all that matters. Did you pick them out or but them from someone.

I agree exactly...I think 20's and or 19's can and do look great on 3rd generations. Like the names mention abouve those guys knows what look good! Those people that dont like them well maybe there just not your style. I mean depending on your age your not gonna. When is the last time you seen a 40,50, 60+old man crusising a H2, Denalie, Escalade, Range Rover with 20's+. You will never! Haha Not to mention a Camaro with 20;s...

IMO As long as you do the right wheel, sizes, and a wheel that looks good with the car who the heck cares.

actually Randy Moss had a set of custom 32"s made, with spinners....and tons of modification to his ride....sold them about 4 months later because he must have realized how dumb it was to have anything that big on the road in general...but moreso on MN streets....saw them and saw them measured myself personally....went for something like 25k with the spinners.....yeesh

Looks nice. Personally, I wouldn't go larger than an 18" front and 19" rear... but it looks good, and clean! Good luck with it!

Alright, I'm here for dinner... What? Oh, sorry, I thought Cookie just pulled up in the chuckwagon. With wheels like that I'd expect to see a full hydraulic system a chihuaua bobble head on top of the rear seat and dice hanging from the mirrors. Right now there's an Escalade up on cinder blocks somewhere crying for its wheels back. lol, ok ok, I had my fun. Not my cup of tea, but if everything was the same on every car, what fun would it be any more?

The car looks great. I think the wheels are just a little too big and tires to thin or maybe it's just not the right design for me. The rear 3/4 view almost seems like there is no tire on the wheel, it's that thin. "Low pro so it looks like I'm ridin' on bladez" doesn't work on a thirdgen IMO. I can appreciate the time and money you've put into her to make her your own though. Good job.

Holy pimpin bling bling! Did you get the idea for those rims from my entry in the Thirdgen.org Photoshop Contest #1 ??? https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=315297
I was just having some fun with the contest...but I don't think I could ever do that to MY car...

has the original poster replied at all??

hey man if ur still out there,,,dont get upset b/c of all the comments. u asked for everyone's opinion. ur car looks good but it could look better. if u have the option to change the wheels again, do it. there is a reason why u dont see 20s on these cars but it is ur ride and u can do whatever makes u happy.

Elthesh,,,funny *** post lol. but i also agree. thirdgen world would be boring if they all looked the same.
