I may have found a way to make you t-tops look good again!

Today i was applying the wax stuff to a Jeeps Hardtop that was black and is was sunfaded. When i was done with it i applied it to my trim on my t-tops and Accidently got some on my t-top and it looked good...so i applied it to both of them and they look 100% better than before...the stuff is Mother's Back to Black...here is a pic of it (and my car just because i like the pic). oh yea i have lexan t-tops too

Thanks, i will upload a non resized for you if you get me a link to a site that will let me upload a 2mb file, if not i maybe can resize it down to 1024x768, because right now it is a 2272x1704 in Jpeg format. I usually upload on Imageshack but they will only let me upload a 1024 kb file.

You should try polishing them instead. . make 'em look like glass.

Do you have any before and after pics of the t-top? And you did it to the whole t-top? I wonder if this would work on glass t-tops

I'm sure he just did the metal frame part. That stuff is greasy and smears on glass.

I also did the rubber weather guards around the windows and the 4 nipples on the rear hatch.

Nope, did it to the whole t-top surface, just wipe it down really well with a dry clean cloth after and its not so greasy...but i didnt even think about taking pictures of it before i started, maybe someone will try it and take pictures. and for glass tops i dont know i have lexan tops.

looks great but the only problem I see with thaty is that doesnt dust and stuff stick to it therefor it needs to be cleaned and shined more often

i dont know about black paint because the hard top i used it on was a molded black, so i would guess it would work great on iroc louvers, but i dont have them to try it on or i diffently would
