Trimming around scoop hole
Trimming around scoop hole
just a quick question.
I have just cut my hood to clear my hood scoop, it still needs
a little bit of grinding to clean it up.
But my question is What could i use as a trimming to go around the edge's of the hole to finish it of.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff.

you should have gotten a stocker camaro hood with out the z 28 scoops it would have looked much better. but you could get some door edge molding it comes in chrome black ect. if you go to the auto detail store or parts store you can get it in a long roll. that will slide right on the edges.
how are you going to finish off where the louvers were?

ageed you should have used a stock rs (they have nothing on the hood) it would have looked alot better. But then again any hood with a blower sticking through it is pretty good lookin in my book anyways.
Thanks for the reply's guys.
I am in australia and some things like body panel's are hard to come by, and if you do find them the seller want's a fortune for them.
I thought about cutting the louvers to the shape needed and putting them back on but i don't know what they would look like.
I'll go down and get some door edge molding and see what it comes out like.
Thanks again.
