Max amount of offset I can have on aftermarket rims when NOT using spacers?

I have been looking at Primax wheels in all different sizes. 17x7, 17x8, and 17x9. The only thing I'm worried about is the offset. What is the max amount of offset I can have (front and rear) and still use NO spacers.

Also, what about the bolt size ?
Thanks

My 89 can fit a max of 4.95" in front and 5.85 in the rear backspacing

Here's a site with the actual calculations

I used to work at a Discount Tire. Here are the fitments you need:
17X9 = 5" spacing or +12.7mm offset
17X9.5 = 5.5" spacing or +19mm offset
17X10 = 6" spacing or +25.4mm offset
What's nice is you can use a wheel with offsets that are close. Backspacing usually comes in .25" increments, which is close to 6mm. Myself? I am running 18X9.5 wheels front and rear with 5.5" spacing. They are fitments for a BMW 7-series. They clear my suspension and steering components, as well as my Baer brakes. Hope this helps, dude. Go get 'em...

Sorry, dude. Some things are sacred. Next thing you know, everyone will have the same wheels I do! Just follow the backspacing guidelines I gave you and go shopping. Plenty of companies have 17X8 4" spacing and 17X9.5 5.5" spacing wheels. Here are several:
Centerline
Weld
American Racing
ROH
Budnik
Boyd Coddington
Billet Specialties
Colorado Custom
Eagle
That should keep you busy!

And, no, those wheels won't work. Waaaay too much positive offset. That +38 is like for an 11" wide wheel!!
